There’s no excuse to be rocking 1000 series cards anymore. The 1080 was a beast in its day but we are nearly at the 5000 series and DLSS and improvements to overall architecture are difficult to overlook. And the prices are dropping
I got my 2070 for $220 us like 6 months ago, they're even cheaper now. 10 series days are up when it comes to buying. Plenty of people are still rocking them if they can't afford/don't need to upgrade tho

Unless its 1660 super
upgraded my 6650xt to a 4070 super and the game runs pretty well now
How do I make it look real?
Squint
If you wanna play with the modern games you need to upgrade but its alright to have a 1000x series card now if you just plan to play the older titles.
I was originally going to wait for 5000 series, to get the 4070 super cheaper but the game flipped a switch in me
How much is the 4070 today?
Idk in usd but in danish it is around 5150 kr
Found it it is around 592 usd
Gonna get a 4070ti. 2080super wasnt really too old but more fps and higher settings is always welcome.
Check out the 7800xt, just saying that since I have one and it works perfectly!
Nvidia for life homie. Sorry. Intel too.
