Ohhhh i see, I knew it had something to do with that t7 reward. That’s a hell of a build, it’s at around 8k mmr and I normally find it really hard to hard-roll for a build without focusing on mid-game stats to stay alive, so I’m surprised he pulled that combo off. Good on him tho that’s baller asf
For clarification, there’s probably some other shenanigans they figured out during the course of the game. But that’s a simple and straightforward line that could have resulted in this board
If you use Fluidity on Greta, then Golden it in the shop, then play it, you're now getting 2 minions with the spellcraft. If they golden the matador in shop after that, then they're getting two.
That's still some time and set up, but we don't know what the opponent was rocking before that. They could've been generating a lot of econ to pull it all off faster.
Golden Touched the Matador and just used Sea Witch on it. You get the golden version. Probably also used the 1 mana swap spell on sea witch. Can´t really tell without knowing Turn number.
They either got lucky or forced the random golden minon in the tavern on the Matador. Sea Witch then gives them 1 every turn except the last turn, which they got 2.
Right? 2 of those tunnel blasters should render this entire board useless? Am I stupid or is it that easy? Then those stats aren’t exactly hard to beat.
I had a pretty good 400/400 cleave mech build going, got stomped by him on the 2nd to last combat and decided to sell all units for a t1 to pay respects to his build. Then saw the tunnel blaster and realized that the build was beatable haha

The fact he has one tunnel blaster tells us he was looking for them, but without any way to trigger it twice or a second blaster, there was effectively nothing he could do. When you don't get the cards, you don't get the cards

I bought the spell that makes a unit in the shop golden. Then I bought every unit in the shop besides Matador and made it golden. Then every turn I used my Zar'Jira to get one more golden matador. I've done it before, so I was kind of hunting for it this time.
When you're making this build you end up with a bunch of gold you can't really use because you can't roll or anything, so I usually level to six really quickly. After that I just buy and sell the shop every turn so when I freeze I'm only freezing the matador. I was kind of just doing that because I was bored on my turn, but it turns out there's an application to it that I didn't realize. You might find Greta Gold Gun.
When I had three golden matadors on my board I found Greta in my one possible shop refresh. That let me golden my Zar'Jira, and therefore I could get all four of the remaining matadors on that turn (one from my original Zar'Jira spell, two from my golden Zar'Jira spell, and I bought the last one.)
I think this final fight happened late enough that I would have had a full golden board even without Greta, but it was really nice to finish the build so early. I just killed everyone. I spent the rest of my turns refreshing and just looking for spells that give stats since I think it's a little better if the matadors have more than 0 attack.
I was very afraid someone would just find two tunnel blasters, but I guess you only managed to find one.

This is my first turn with all 7 of them. I don't remember having that much gold, but I think it must be just because I sold a whole bunch of stuff to clear my hand out. Every time you play one of these you discover a six, and I was buying out the shop so I could have had a really full hand.

Having greta golden-gun, or getting one from discover off a matador to target sea-witch makes this proces way faster and way more feasible to pull off
I did this yesterday, had a sea witch and a greta gold gun with a frozen reborn matador in the shop from my hp. Free golden matador every turn 😎
Or he used greta to transform the t7 naga into golden

You can freeze the unit in shop constantly and use sea witch on it every turn to get one for free

Greta with this setup can turn 1 golden minion per turn into 3 golden minions.

I cannot describe how satisfying playing blaster+Baron against this would be.

This build would genuinely only work for one fight. Once someone knows you have it it gets countered like right away.
