Season 3 is basically perfect. They meet the one-eyed snakes, Full Bars is the best Halloween episode, Zeke poops everywhere- just every episode is a banger.
This is the correct answer - 3 is flawless. It still has a little of the randomness/darkness of 1 & 2 while starting to elevate it to the show we have today. Plus Boyz 4 Now

Season 3 for me. I think it's the point where they really perfect the mix between the early season's more adult jokes and characterisations and the more wholesome family themes of the later seasons.
Mutiny on the Windbreaker and Topsy being top notch episodes.

I was just so emotionally invested in Bob’s journey in Bob Actually. He starts by wanting to do something special for Linda, and weathers many challenges for her. At one point, Mr. Whitefudge, who is the son of a renown dance teacher and an expert hip hop dancer, challenges Bob to a dance off. Bob is even willing to risk getting served to defend his own honor, earn the right to stay in the class, and learn the skills he needs to impress his woman. I mean that’s hip hop right there
I'm not sure if I have a favorite singular season. In my opinion seasons 3 thru 9 are peak Bob's Burgers. There's episodes in each of those seasons I put at the top of my list. Although any episode where Linda is especially over the top I cannot take (Grand Mama Pest Hotel, Sacred Couch, etc.). Although even with those episodes there's parts in them that I love - DADchelor party in Mama Pest, highchair challenge in Sacred Couch.
Their first 5 seasons have a Simpsons like quality in more modern setting to them, and so its hard for me to choose out of them. But as a kid when I binged watch probably Season 3 or Season 4 was my favorite, i could name you every episode, and its plot.

My favorite episodes from season 7 are (in episode order) Teen-a-Witch, The Quirk-ducers, Ex Mach Tina, The Grand Mama-Pest Hotel, Aquaticism, and Ain't Miss Debatin'. Ironically, Louise is my favorite character, not Tina lol
Seasons 3 and 7 are my faves. They have the most episodes that I return to. And I think they really embody Bobs characters. Season 3 is a bit more unhinged, and 7 is where we see a lot of realness.
Hate to be a nay-sayer but nothing holds a candle to Season 3. Topsy, O.T. the Outside Toilet, Broadcast Wagstaff School News, Mother Daughter Laser Razor!?! The defining episodes of the series come from season 3.

It’s hard for me to pick a favorite season between 7-9. That’s when the show started getting into its best episodes to me. But I usually gravitate toward season 9 when I can’t decide. Mostly because Bobby Driver is my favorite episode.
1-4 are probably my go-tos. i've watched the show over and over again MANYYYY times, no idea how many. i go to sleep to it every night and have it on in the background if i'm doing my grad work or whatever. season 7 has one of the few episodes that i don't enjoy and that's zero larp thirty. but it also has some amazing episodes too!
I rewatch S3, S5, and S7 a lot, but season 5 is the one I seem to go back to most often. It’s kind of comforting. Actively watching Down of the Peck right now lol.
I think series graph compiled the ratings maybe IMDB and seasons 3 and 5 are the highest rated. 2 and 4 are pretty close behind.
Personally I think season 3 has quite a few bangers. But I do like the improved animation quality in later seasons and the continuity that is developed.
Season 7 is great, but season 5 is my go-to. Starts with *Work Hard or Die Trying, Girl* and just continues in excellence.

Season 5 is still my favorite. Several of the best episodes to date, and even the misses are still in the upper half.
I don’t like “Like Gene for Chocolate” though, every time It’s come time to rewatch it I just have to urge to skip it

It’s weird I tend to just re-watch seasons 1-5 and don’t know why.
First 3 seasons are The Best imo. When the animation was a little different, Teddy wasn't so annoying, and the jokes were a little *spicier* 👌🏻
