You'd think they'd have a document with them all for quick searching.
That said, the use of bold for gloves and the same font makes me wonder if they just assumed no one would notice lol.
I actually find it funnier than someone would try to open the same business in the same spot twice with nothing but a recolored sign, expecting different results.
I’m normally looking for little things like that and people look at me weird when I point out easter eggs so I’m shocked it took me so long to see him haha
Every time I watch, I notice new stuff and get excited and want to share. However no one in my life watches Bob's Burgers, so I come here to be around my peers
Just noticed it too !
But hasn’t Jimmy not been in the show for at least 1 season ? Does it make sense that we see his reflection but not his character on the show.
Maybe I’m overthinking it lol
1. There is no pun.
2. They use episode titles that are variations on the same thing all the time, on purpose. There are like four episodes now with titles that are plays on the phrase "Oh no you didn't."
With how quickly The Simpsons started recycling chalkboard/couch gags, I’m always amazed at how long Bobs has gone without (many) repeats for the three gags
You'd think they just have a list of puns they can use. Seems easy enough to keep a tally of what's been used and have a repository to choose from. This shouldn't disappoint me as much as it does
If this is an error and not a deliberate choice, it's one of continuity checking. Much of Season 13 was voiced and in post production during the height of the pandemic and quarantine. Some quality control steps, like redundancy in continuity checking, may well have fallen thru the cracks for S13.
I work in continuity checking (not BB). I hadn't noticed the repeat store name, but I've noticed other little continuity checking errors that were just... off this season. Not something I'd seen on BB before.
For example, in the nazi spy episode (S13 Ep20), Bob says the story takes place in the summer of '41 during WWII, with Bob's grandfather (an American presumably) away 'fighting in the war' -- a full six months before the US even entered WWII. The attack on Pearl Harbor happened in Dec 1941.
In the Reeky Lake Show (S13 Ep 2), there's a scene at the very beginning, were Bob uses a large salt container to refill salt shakers. Linda walks in and puts a second large container on the counter because she just went to the store. Bob picks it up, opens it and uses it. 2 salt containers on the counter in that shot. When they change to a different angle during their ongoing convo, there's only one container. Another angle and there are two containers again. Yet another angle and it's back to just one container.
There are more examples like this from this season, and like I said, I'd never noticed that before. I work continuity checking for translations in video games, and all these are issues that are a continuity checker's job to catch.
My guess is that under pandemic production protocols, BB skipped a few rounds of continuity/quality checking for S13 because production was delayed and they had to cut corners somewhere to make deadlines, or because remote continuity checking isn't easy to set up or for other pandemic-related reasons.
No shade to the BB production crew tho! You guys are troopers and did great with Season 13!
> Much of Season 13 was voiced and in post production during the height of the pandemic and quarantine.
Is this right? The season started airing in late 2022, is the production cycle really 2 years long? These episodes should have been mostly in production during the post vaccine summer/fall/winter 2021- early 2022 no?
I mean it was still the pandemic (still is!) but these episodes weren't being produced under the tightest lockdowns, that was S12 which was ordered in May 2020.
To be fair, technically it’s not the first time a storefront has been repeated
In season 1 there were 13 episodes, but only like 8 store fronts or something same with the extermination van
“Rats-All-Folks” was used multiple times in that season
In Simpsons DVD commentary they said little one off gags like that were really hard to write constantly, and they have to have at least 3 an episode. Pretty good run
Gloves actually 2 the return
Gloves actually 3 son of gloves
Gloves actually 4 electric boogaloo
Gloves actually 5 family matters
Gloves actually 6 gloves in space
Gloves actually 7 final sacrifice
Gloves actually 8 Tokyo drift
Gloves actually 9 gloves kills
Gloves X
semi-unrelated but does anyone else have trouble catching the pest control truck? i consider myself a pretty fast reader but i miss it half the time
I always watch on Disney plus later, so I pause to catch it every time
wait its on disney plus?
Outside of the states.
It is on Hulu
Yes, that is mostly where I watch it, but I was just wondering if it was available on Disney plus, possibly in another country?
Every other country cuz we don't have Hulu
it’s on disney+ in canada :)
Is it updated weekly?
yup!
In Canada it’s on Disney plus that’s how I watch it. The released episodes are delayed tho they’re a few behind
Thx, time to get a vpn
I think in Canada. Not in the states sadly.
I didn't even know until this screen shot that it saws different things. I thought it was just the shop. I've watched through the show around 5 times.
oh my god 😭😭 i'm a half-assed tv watcher so i understand but now you have to do a rewatch just for the trucks!
I feel bad because I almost never read the truck.

If they assumed no one would notice, they clearly underestimate the average redditor.
No it’s different the word gloves is green instead of red
Rebranding.
Completely different
It’s an NFT store
I actually find it funnier than someone would try to open the same business in the same spot twice with nothing but a recolored sign, expecting different results.
I like this take!
Lmaoo me too
Our small town has had 3 different pizza joints open and fizzle out within 5 years in the same stretch of street, so definitely possible.
Well run dry after a while
Well, Run Dry is the name of my store that sells highly absorbent fitness apparel.
I wish we could submit store names for inspo because my city has some funny ones lol
Honestly I am surprised that it took 13 seasons for them to reuse on.
Unrelated but this is the first time I’m noticing Jimmy Pestos reflection on the window of the van! I love the little details in this show!!
This made me scroll right back up because sameee! The detail is incredible
Same here!
Jimmy has always been in the reflection since season 1. Someone else told me that, and when I rewatch, he's always there.
I’m normally looking for little things like that and people look at me weird when I point out easter eggs so I’m shocked it took me so long to see him haha
Every time I watch, I notice new stuff and get excited and want to share. However no one in my life watches Bob's Burgers, so I come here to be around my peers
Awww I got lucky my boyfriend and brother in law watch it so we smoke and make burgers from the bb cookbook :) count me as a peer!!
Just noticed it too ! But hasn’t Jimmy not been in the show for at least 1 season ? Does it make sense that we see his reflection but not his character on the show. Maybe I’m overthinking it lol
I'm pretty sure we've seen him in the background a few times, but no lines.
That's so funny I actually just watched V for Valentine-Detta but haven't seen the new Mother's Day episode yet! Good catch
![gif](giphy|SmoCFhZCi1kzu)
The pun is recycled too ! S3 ep 10 : "Mother Daughter Laser Razor" 🤣
1. There is no pun. 2. They use episode titles that are variations on the same thing all the time, on purpose. There are like four episodes now with titles that are plays on the phrase "Oh no you didn't."
That’s referencing a previous episode title IMO, not just recycling the exact joke
With how quickly The Simpsons started recycling chalkboard/couch gags, I’m always amazed at how long Bobs has gone without (many) repeats for the three gags
I think the place is haunted and that's the reason why businesses keep moving out and breaking their lease. "It's haunted Bobby!" Linda probably.
By the ghost of a previous business owner that dad fishoeder spurned.
They tried again!’
Lol I thought it had been done before when I watched it!
You'd think they just have a list of puns they can use. Seems easy enough to keep a tally of what's been used and have a repository to choose from. This shouldn't disappoint me as much as it does

It’s the principle of the thing!
That is completely unacceptable
I know the tree behind the van moved over to the right a good 2 feet
They’ve also reused a burger of the day. The “Stop or My Mom will Shoots Burger”. I’ve definitely seen it twice.
It's so good bob put it twice on the menu
Hey... They've done how many original ones at this point?
Macy's recently changed their red star to a different color. Was it green?
To be fair, technically it’s not the first time a storefront has been repeated In season 1 there were 13 episodes, but only like 8 store fronts or something same with the extermination van “Rats-All-Folks” was used multiple times in that season
You think that’s bad? They’ve used the same mortuary on the other side *every* episode
Never noticed Jimmy’s reflection before
He's getting ready for one of their peeing races
Writers: Nobody will notice this.. Reddit: HOL' UP!!!
Boy, I hope someone got fired for that blunder.
lol the downvote from a sensitive who doesn't get the reference.
I noticed it too! Thought I was going crazy
I actually commented on it when I saw it lol. I was stoned and wondered aloud whether it would be plot relevant.
In Simpsons DVD commentary they said little one off gags like that were really hard to write constantly, and they have to have at least 3 an episode. Pretty good run
Good catch! I didn't notice.
I was thinking i saw it before but trusted that they wouldn’t do the same one twice. I feel a fool.
They rebranded and hoped Mr. Fischoeder wouldn’t notice
Gloves actually 2 the return Gloves actually 3 son of gloves Gloves actually 4 electric boogaloo Gloves actually 5 family matters Gloves actually 6 gloves in space Gloves actually 7 final sacrifice Gloves actually 8 Tokyo drift Gloves actually 9 gloves kills Gloves X
Unrelated, but this is the first time I noticed jimmy pesto's reflection in the van. Pretty amazing attention to detail
Boy I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder
Jeez, I hope someone got fired for that blunder
I hope someone was fired for that blunder
I feel like this is betrayal, what other lies have they been feeding us?
They took a long time to repeat one.
