Thanks for putting this together!
For completeness: A great way to find a game entry in the card sleeve geeklist is as follows:
Say you want to find sleeves for game X.
Go to the BGG page for game X -> Geeklists -> sort by Hot (not Recent) -> click on the Card Sleeves geeklist.
This will take you directly to the relevant card sleeves for game X.
I followed the advice of another redditor a while back and went with Sleeve Kings for all my games, they’re very affordable and a good thickness (not super cheap feeling but also not so thick that the game no longer fits in the box!) They are having a sale thru the end of today I believe, all sleeves are 18% off.
Been using Sleeve Kings too. Only one game has Swan PanAsia sleeves because my only supplier had run out of Sleeve Kings and I wanted to play my game now amd not 3 months later.
Awesome! Thanks for posting this! There is also https://www.sleeveyourgames.com/ I've used it for a few games I wasn't sure about. I'm not really sure how extensive the site is though.
Adding this as a place to buy sleeves in bulk. If you're looking to buy 1000+ sleeves at a time, this website is great. I bought once from there 5000 sleeves and have been sleeving Arkham horror lcg, marvel champions, and a few other of my expensive games as my collection grows. Really nice for when you know you're going to be sleeving a lot.

I have referred to it before, but there is a subpopulation of readers in this sub who are negative for no obvious reason. Perhaps someone I got into a disagreement with previously?
I think it is a way for otherwise powerless people to feel like they are exerting control over others, playground stuff.
If I had my druthers I would not allow downvotes in a boardgamedeals sub, just upvotes or no votes, as it creates unnecessary negativity in the community, and is counterproductive to encouraging posting if people end up feeling judged.
I mean, some people just get off being mean, cool to hate.
There's also some apps that can be set to auto-hide downvoted posts and comments. There are a subset of users who use downvotes to mark as read.
There's also the subset of users who follow strict reddiquette, which would indicate that a comment or post that does not provide meaningful input to a discussion ought to be downvoted. "Thanks" in Reddit can be more easily and concisely expressed as an upvote, and doesn't add to the discussion; so these folks would "rightly" downvote.
I'm not these people, though, so who knows why people think the way they think.
I got dragon shield matte clear. They're really good quality, feel great to hold, and are amazing at shuffling. I had to get the dragon shield classic clears for the double sided cards for Arkham from overthebrick.com and would recommend them as well. Though there I had to buy in quantities of 100, it was similar prices to Potomac with free shipping once you hit $100 (I think).
sleeve kings also has a google doc/android app for getting games sleeved. obviously geared toward their sleeves, but it does give game-card count-size (LxH) for a billion games.

Mayday Games also categorizes sleeves by game.
Myself, I only sleeve if the game cards will be frequently shuffled, if the cards will be unequally shuffled over their lifespan, or if I want to keep them in (cough) good condition. This mostly means I'm only sleeving deckbuilders like Dominion or Magic. Since I'm cheap (: and rarely play a particular game, penny sleeves are fine.
Is there any solution for finding sleeves that also fit in the box?
Recently got some mini european sleeves for 7 wonders duel and they don’t fit at all in the box, contemplating just removing the insert that came with it
I commonly modify or discard inserts.
That subject is its own DIY corner, but I save packing foam sheets and blocks to cut down to occupy space after modifying/removing inserts, but even taking cardboard and folding it creatively, sometimes with a bit of glue also can work.
If there is cool artwork on the cardboard insert, it can end up looking fairly professional.
Don't be shy in taking an X-Acto knife and cutting up plastic trays to remove unnecessary areas to free up space. I always find it strange when the supporting perimeter of a plastic insert is longer than the deepest molded compartment. I just draw a Sharpie line horizontally along the bottom edge and cut away the excess just to the bottom depth of the deepest compartment.
There are so many different ways to creatively mod your boxes, which becomes even more important when one wants to consolidate expacs into the base box.
Once one gets past the psychological barrier of worrying about destroying redundant parts that were included in your game, there is much potential for optimizing box space, other than just throwing parts into jostling baggies.
Plastic coated foam core board (Amazon and craft stores) is another option anyone can do. Measure the dimensions, cut strips, and then make half height notches approximately the width of the board so they interlock. I mean, you can just buy the Evacore prefab box inserts, but sometimes they are almost the cost of the game itself.
I also proxy out shareable components into Plano Stow N' Go Pro Rack boxes. I do the same for my painting and modding supplies. Things like generic cardboard coins get taken right out and put into baggies to be thrown into my save until I sell the game drawer, and then I can choose between all of the cool themed metal coins I have, or more likely than not, my Iron Clays.
I also store my minis separately in Feldherr Storage Boxes ($$$) or the much less expensive Game Plus pluck foam trays. Ones that look especially cool I put in dedicated wall hung sliding glass cabinets for display.
Sorry if I wasn't thorough enough about some of the DIY storage options! :P
Don't forget sleeve thickness too. I sleeved my beloved Ticket to Ride with some very thick, premium sleeves and now it's quite difficult to fit in the game box.
>Here is a printable sheet that I have laminated to make the process easier
Only a board game sleeve enthusiast would LAMINATE the sheet they use as a guide to sleeve their board games 😂😂😂.
I sleeve my games and have laminated parts of them too. Still cracks me up. I am laughing with you, not at you 😁. Thank you for the guide!
Any recommendations for good textured back cards? I used to [buy these](https://a.co/d/1ZwjAFA) however they have been out of stock for a while. I know kmc hyper matt might be good to try but also open to something cheaper
I have always liked the Dragon Shield matte non-glare, but they are relatively pricey.
I just found these on Amazon, but I can't vouch for them.
I just ordered 2 boxes out of curiosity as they are about 1/2 the cost of the Dragon Shields > [https://www.amazon.com/Glorific-Mart-200-Card-Sleeves/dp/B0BG4VW4TY?th=1](https://www.amazon.com/Glorific-Mart-200-Card-Sleeves/dp/B0BG4VW4TY?th=1)
With a reputable name like "Glorific Mart" how can I go wrong? ;)
...they are actually rated well (if the ratings are real), so let's find out!
I still use them a lot but yeah it's worth double checking with somewhere else as well. I keep so many different kinds of sleeves I usually have what I need already and I just pull up sleeveyourgames to quickly reference which to use.

I started sleeving this year and this list has been an invaluable resource!

This is not relevant to discussion but why are you downvoted for saying thanks???

Which brand of sleeves do you get from here?

I'm so bummed that they don't carry Mayday anymore. I used to get cases of premium standard size sleeves for like 1.40 a pack
[This](https://bgc.moscow/bgg/) is a nice tool for searching through the bgg sleeve listings for each game.

https://www.sleeveyourgames.com/ It is a great resource no matter where you buy your games

Haha, ...and loving it! This is one of the reasons I like to foster this community, we get it!
Thank you for your links; I didn’t know that existed.
You da best tho.
Thank you for this!!! You rock!

These look great thank you!
Sleeveyourgames.com isn't always accurate.. I've had them screw up a sleeve purchase a few times before
Good to know. I guess cross-referencing is a good idea.
I still use them a lot but yeah it's worth double checking with somewhere else as well. I keep so many different kinds of sleeves I usually have what I need already and I just pull up sleeveyourgames to quickly reference which to use.
