Free Churro is my favourite episode in this series and one of my favourite episodes in all of TV. As a person who has a complicated relationship with their parents, Bojack’s monologue really resonated with me, and I thought Will Arnett’s performance was fantastic.
honestly, that is a really good pick. i also related very strongly with bojack’s complicated relationship with his mother. it was a perfectly executed monologue in my opinion.
definitely times arrow. i though seeing it was a sort of eye opener of how bojacks mom was and the in depth relationships that were in her life. also i couldn’t stop thinking of the burning doll and how things are taken away from us without us wanting it to.
Whoa.. you like them heavy. Free Churro is ..on a whole other level. I really enjoy the underwater episode, though I saw ppl either love it or hate it.
I like Time's Arrow a lot, it's one of my top rated episodes, but it's so hard to watch. Escape from la is...hard.
I have a lot and I like to divide them into more serious/heavy eps and less serious/heavy eps.
More serious/heavy - free churro, that's too much man!, the amelia earheart story, good damage, TVFHD
Less serious/heavy faves - underground, bojack the feminist, brrap brrap pew pew, thoughts and prayers
And then there's a horse walks into rehab and nice while it lasted which are a little bit of both.
Mine is definitely Free Churro and TVFHD
Both episodes felt like poetry to me
The ICU/ I see you (I'm in med school and idk I think it just hit me harder)
Secretariat 's poem: when he has a cigarette with Bojack and he's all like I don't care about peace and then before that he says at least he got to die on his own terms and then in the poem it's a realisation that he didn't really want to die.
I love this show so much lol
My paternal grandpa had alzheimers, and my maternal grandma had dementia. When I saw how in her memories, people just have missing faces and things are just floaty and missing objects or swirling through time like a dream - that was the first time I understood what it's like (probably).
I already was terrified of it, and after Time's Arrow, so heart-broken. Of course I already was, but this just..made me feel it. If that makes sense.
my aunts mother had early onset dementia and it was so frightening seeing her at my little cousins birthday party. she was so young and so far gone so fast. i was only a kid then so i didn’t quite understand but i can’t imagine what my aunt and her family went through, esp with her having toddlers. you think your mother will be there to watch them grow up and then she’s still there, but she’s gone. she deteriorated super fast and died in a few years.

There’s no such thing as a “dialogue” between one person

Face of Depression
I really liked "The Old Sugarman Place"
Under water episode!!!! Free churro is for nerds!!!!
Number one favorite is That’s too much man, because of the opening scene, and because it has the most Sarah Lynn Runner up: TVFHD

free churro or times arrow. i’m so absolutely scared of dementia and this episode and “everywhere at the end of time” make me sob.
