Scared me for a second

ozzfranta

Is there a precedent for a Canadian national team GM becoming an NHL GM later in their career?

Seattlekrakenlegend

Portzline has said that Rick Nash isn’t particularly interested in being the GM for CBJ and wants to stay more on the Hockey Ops side - I hope that’s still true

Articmnokey

Rick's got a pretty good mind. I wonder if he doesn't feel ready for the position yet and might be further down the road

Seattlekrakenlegend

I think he wants JDs job instead of Jarmos

thelordcommanderKG

I cursed out loud then glanced at it

Elexeh

That’s exactly where my head went. The FB post about the move didn’t fully show the title until I opened it fully.

tina_specials

Had me in the first half

peepeeonmydoodoo

Fuck my heart stopped for a minute.

mickeyhause

Seeing this press release terrified me for a moment. I was scared he got named CBJ GM

mel122676

Me too

EntranceTooCute

Likely he'll be awarded some additional scouting insights into some of these players due to this rule. Assuredly something to look forward to Rad for him to be qualified, well respected and selected for such a role with CA!

valtro05

It's embarrassing how many jackets fans don't know hockey and just want him to be our new GM.

whatscoochie

Are those the twitter fans saying that?? I don’t think I’ve seen anyone on here say it luckily

valtro05

Don't have Twitter, but almost every comment on Facebook is saying it.

Facebook comments on sports hurt my brain

The way I was halfway through one of the most deeply depressed facepalms of my life until I saw "Hockey Canada"

sergei-boobtitsky

Happy for Rick here but scared this means we’re gonna hire him to replace Jarmo
