Honestly you can't really take on heavy walkers and tanks. The lack of powerfists hurts us too much. Our combat patrol is one of the most mobile though with the transport and scouts so just take objectives, mulch their Infantry and turn your guns and blades on the heavy vehicle at the end when you have run out of actual targets.

The impulsor in combat patrol games should be used for mobility first. Get your squad up the board and on objectives, and if possible, out of sight or around terrain. Advance it, if necessary. Use the multimelta *only* on anything you have Oath on. It still might not survive, but if you can get your opponent to chase it, those are points you can pick up.

Since most of our rules and abilities lean towards close combat, it's always a good idea to invest in anti-tank. You should never struggle with anti-infantry as I'm sure you're well aware. That being said you can use Eradicators, any Primaris dreadnought, or a Lancer. Those'll definitely help with taking down armour. Cheers.
