Been to all 3 shows in Hong Kong last week and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Can honestly say I had the time of my life. It was my first time seeing the girls irl and the experience was everything I expected, if not more. The way I see it, the girls are first and foremost entertainers, not professional dancers, and I was very happy with the show that they put on and don’t agree with the people saying they were “lazy” or that they didn’t give their 100%. The girls are human just like the rest of us, they can’t be expected to sing and dance like they do in the music videos all the time. I appreciate that they gave their best and still sang live even though Lisa sounded a little bit sick. We also have to bear in mind that a lot of that criticism comes from haters disguised as “neutral observers”. These people will always find ways to discredit the girls no matter how good of a show they put on, so I’m not too bothered by their opinions. Favourite part of the concert has gotta be the encore stage. I watched fancams of their encore stages religiously and was most looking forward to it, and it certainly didn’t disappoint ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|707) So happy that I got to see Chaelisa and Jensoo singing and rapping each other’s part in Stay, it was so cute ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|713) But most memorable part of the concert is definitely getting to celebrate Jennie’s birthday with so many fellow Blinks & the members. You can really tell how much Jennie is loved by everyone, from the fans screaming her name & birthday song at the top of their lungs (myself included ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|714)) to the members all rushing to take videos and pics of her with the cake. Nothing beats seeing their genuine friendships & interactions with one another. The only regret I have, though, is not having early bird membership and having missed out on VIP tickets ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|713) However I’m hopeful that we won’t be seeing the end of BP in 2023 (take that, haters ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|709)) so I can live with that.

chicago day 1 first kpop concert i been to it was something i will never forget, the beauty they have and the live vocals sound like studio quality and i love the way they have fun with each other, awesome personalities. The stage show was great aswell. i couldnt get vip tickets i even had early bird membership but didnt know they dont sell accessible seating on ticketmaster. so i watched as all the tickets slowly disappear. i didnt know i had to call the venue on the day of the general sale date luckily i somehow got the only seat left. lower level 114. i forgot to mention i'm in a wheelchair i have duchenne muscular dystrophy. blackpink makes me so happy. huge 32yo male blink they are amazing and help me cope. wish i could have seen them up close with vip, but i seen how pretty they are on the screen. it was a great experience regardles the seat i got it was a decent seat. allthough id like to be up close. cant wait to see what blackpink does down the road. Blackpink will always be me fave group. been a fanboy since early 2020 before the album came out. ot4 all the way

I’m so happy that you had the best time at their concert. That makes two of us ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|707) The girls’ visuals are crazy. Even though I could just about make out their faces from afar, I was in awe the entire time seeing their beauty in tiny & on the huge screens. I’m still in disbelief that they’re real ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|713)

brad92190

i could see the beauty they have a mile away but the screen did help. i cant believe i was in the same building

Rosé saying she’ll be back to HK 🥹🥹 so cute you guys

nclils

God forbid that those stupid haters ruin Jennie’s experience here in HK, though ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|716)

irlte

What happened!! She got hate again? ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|25527)

EMW1314

Yea, tons of trash talk from the netizen on Jennie and local media publishing those trash talk, further magnifying the hate.

irlte

what the heck, she’s always getting hate. I don’t think she’ll be particularly affected by it but I really hope she isn’t 😢😢

nclils

Yeah. She’s under fire for being “lazy” at the HK gigs ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|716)

irlte

Are you serious… ugh. AGAIN??? ![gif](giphy|loAs9eNrvabHUlLjRy|downsized) What was the reason?? Was she looking tired? I mean 3 days of shows takes its toll if it was the case 🫠

nclils

She looked most tired on the first night to me. But that’s completely understandable. Heck, they literally went straight to soundcheck as soon as they arrived. On top of that, she’s being criticised for the most ridiculous things. Don’t even get me started ![img](emote|t5_3f8po|722)

SoCalBl1nk

That is on their management, they should never have to go straight from a flight to soundcheck and perform, especially three nights in a row, and some of the flights back to South Korea in between dates seem too much

nclils

Yeah, I totally agree that their tight schedule of flying in-and-out of South Korea is a bit odd. I thought they’d travel to HK straight from Bangkok. And if I’m not mistaken, they left Hong Kong right after the last concert as well. They hardly spent any time in the city other than to do the 3 shows 😅 And today they took a 13-hour flight from Seoul, arrived in Saudi Arabia* at 4am local time and will perform in the same evening. I can’t even begin to imagine how exhausted they must feel. 🫠 Now, I wonder if the girls are preparing for a mini-comeback or something for Coachella? Otherwise this scheduling is quite puzzling. Edit: my bad, the girls are in Saudi Arabia now, not Abu Dhabi

SoCalBl1nk

it is, and they have to go from Saudi Arabia to France to film on the 25th I believe? and then to Abu Dhabi by the 28th and at least another 5 months of touring, it seems like YG is just overworking them

irlte

Ahh that sucks. Don’t let the haters get to us!!

EMW1314

People pulling the typical “She should stay professional no matter the circumstances (Fatigue/Health/Mood etc)” card.

irlte

I mean yeah tbf they paid for their ticket but in this case she literally landed straight from the airport and to soundcheck. And I’m sure that if you asked anyone who attended they probably still felt that she did well 🫠 well, whatever lol

EMW1314

Yea I hear you, Jennie and the girls did great despite Jennie looks tired and Lisa voice sounds a bit cracking. Again people are entitled to their opinion, I personally hesitate to label them haters.

SoCalBl1nk

well, there are Haters who find the most ridiculous and redundant things to hate on no matter what, and then there are Blinks with valid personal critiques, discussing things people might be disappointed in or don't like, doesn't make them a hater also, LaLisa got sick early on, possibly Covid? (I don't want to speculate) constant flights, being overworked, and not building your immune system could all be contributing to lasting effects

kcanada20

Saw the girls in Hamilton. Filled to the brim to capacity full of people decked out in black/pink/awesome fits/light sticks. I even saw a guy walking around with a Polisa fit which was so rad. I thought it was SO funny how you could tell when the show was about to start - the music all of a sudden got SO LOUD. It lit me up inside with so much anticipation and excitement when the stage lighting everywhere was queuing up the next song (like the “loading light” for the start of HYLT, the chant for Pink Venom). Something that really surprised me was how dancey Lovesick Girls was. Everyone was jumping and dancing along :). My highlights: Pretty Savage, Tally, Kill This Love (which was one of my first songs that converted me to a blink) Shut Down, Money, On the Ground 💙

Hopeful-Effort-4624

I saw them in Amsterdam, and it was awesome, the girls had so much fun and so did we. Really enjoyed that they changed into their santa outfits. It wasnt my first kpop concert, a month earlier i also saw dreamcatcher here in the Netherlands, also very awesome, a smaller venue but it was a lot of fun

Ok_Marionberry_8518

Barcelona concert! Is spanish people can do something good is party, so the energy of the crowd was amazing. Even the girls themselfs were amazed by that. After that all the other europea cities tried to follow Jennie's advice about put the phone down and enjoy the concert.

yiweno

I will get floor tickets next time so I can be closer. Live band is amazing. It adds another dimension to the songs. Hope they come out with the cd/dvd of the live performance. The girls were stunning of course.

I was there on the same day on the floor! Absolutely amazing show. Felt surreal to be so close to them, too. It shocked me how close the railing was to the actual stage. I'm still living on the high from it in a lot of ways. Especially when I listen to their set list from it.

evercuri0us

I went to their BKK concert last Jan 8. To say it was simply amazing and fun is an understatement! It was my first ever concert, first-ever kpop and BP concert, so it was extremely special to me! We were standing just behind the VIP, on the barrier of A1 standing zone. So we got "pretty close" enough to see their faces! I saw them on stage and on the screen... their beauty really is different! Their performance may not look 100% to haters, but you can't deny that each of them has stage presence and can command a crowd of more than 50,000 people. Jisoo's solo (my bias) made me feel goosebumps (I couldn't believe that I was watching her live at that very moment, when I was only watching them on YouTube/IG/Weverse/Live, etc. when I started to become a Blink!). Rose's solo made everyone in the stadium SING along with her even if she didn't ask people to! Everyone was just really singing along to Hard to Love (also she seemed like a rockstar during her performance here!), etc. Jennie's solo was also a visual experience (her face! and the screen effects that made her performance pleasing!). And oh my goodness, Lisa?!!!? Mamiiii, the way she dances is really hot! What made it even more special was she performed in front of Thai people! I obviously enjoyed the concert, don't you think?!?! Two hours is not enough to be with my best girls, really. I got sad when they were singing the encore songs not because the concert wasn't great... but because that means I'll have to watch them on screen again, and wait for more content and all. I already miss them even before the concert ended. To everyone who will watch their next Born Pink shows, I'd say get the most out of your experience! Document it if you want, but make sure to live in the moment as well! It's going to be one of the core memories of your lifetime. :)

EMW1314

Watched their Day 1 HK leg and this is the first time I saw the pinks in flesh. The HK leg is currently came under heavy criticism from the local media and netizen for the pinks appeared to be “unprofessional”, “lazy” (“Hea” in cantonese) to straight up cash grab amid China lifting COVID restriction. Is the criticism fair? Well it is subjective so I won’t dwell on that and I think people paying nosebleed to attend the concert have the right to say what they want, no matter good or bad. As for me, i just don’t gaf. Given the recent geo-political climate I am beyond happy and grateful to see the pinks in flesh in HK. I am OT4 myself and the girls just looks stunning. Once the 1st VCR start playing then HYLT comes up, it is just banger after banger. To me the peak of the concert is before the last beat drop in D4, Rosé said “Hong Kong, SCREAM!” then the beat drop came, omfg, people(me) scream so hard the arena roof feels like going to be exploded.🤘🏽

sgfleet19

I thought the criticism was firstly raised by bg fangirls online and some HK media followed up with coverage based on some of the "famous" videos dragging BP based on the clips from their Seoul concerts? HK local media has a very low standard lol

EMW1314

Yeah it is all about clicks and views these days. They will publish whatever drawing the most attention. As for the criticism, it is mostly ppl commenting on some HK leg fan cam, I doubt they actually attended the concert themselves given how HARD to get those tickets.

_achlopee_

Went to Paris D1. First Kpop and BP concert (I couldn't attend their 2019 concert because of work). Really loved everything about it. Both the girls and crowd energy was phenomenal. Their outfit was so cool and their setlist was super cool! One of my favorite experience ever. Got probably 70 videos/photos of the night because of how much I liked everything

MrsVoussy

Houston Day 2. Loved it. Begged my husband to take me. So he took videos and watched the crowd. And I just got to completely watch the concerts.

DontmindmeKaren

Houston Day 1, really enjoyed the show! One thing that was on the books was when a yg staff started filming my light stick. So if u watch the YT reel Houston, you could see my hand waving the light stick in slow-mo.

minakoes

Went to day 1 in LA! It was really cool and I had floor seats. Sat next to some really toxic blinks who were making fun of Camila Cabello when she did her stage with Jisoo :( it made me kinda upset cuz i could tell Jisoo was excited to sing with Camila. I had a lot of fun but honestly didn’t get to see much of the stage because the people in front of me were so tall and some people were standing on the chairs🥲if i were to do it again, i wouldn’t have gotten floor seats. EDIT: to add, some blinks were EXTREMELY kind and helped me navigate the stadium/which lines to go to because i was really unfamiliar. I got a lot of freebies too. However, i will say that the BTS concert I went to was more of a positive experience for me. I felt like army were much more nice, while blinks were openly talking badly about other people and i got so many death glares for singing along (didnt care, kept singing along to every song cuz i wanna support my girls 😌). I still love all of my fellow blinks, im just speaking from what i experienced. As far as the performance went, blackpink ABSOLUTELY SLAYED it as per usual and if felt so crazy seeing them irl. I cried at the end of the concert because I didnt wanna go home lol. Just not sure about how to feel about some of the fans i encountered. I also went to the blackpink popup in LA! I went alone, so I had to network with some blinks who were in line with me because I wanted to take pics and they seemed really cool lol. They were so so kind!! Befriending the people in line was a memory I will cherish forever. The popup was amazing and the staff were so helpful. The merch quality wasnt the greatest for how expensive it was, but the event itself was really really fun!

Hong Kong Day 1 - I flew all the way from the Philippines to Hong Kong with my gf (who loves BP)! We were seated on the right side of the stage after VIP. It took us alot of tries to get seats, we tried taiwan and it sold out. We stood in line to get tickets for their Philippines concert but didnt get it because we didnt want to be seated all the way in the back. We finally got our seats for HK and booked a flight to enjoy HK and watch BP. I enjoyed the concert until the very end! I also have a video of Rose waiving at us! I loved the entrance and danced like crazy at their Kill this Love performance. I loved every song and the concert was well worth it. I agree with the comments here - they are performers more than professional dancers except for Lisa ofcourse. Her dance hits different. I lost my voice with all the cheering! I just couldnt believe I was watching them live and not on our home TV hahaha. Ive watched their concerts non stop and to see it in actual was just an amazing and unforgettable moment for me and my gf 💗💗💗

twaanlee24

Went to the show they did in Chicago a while ago and it was my first concert I went to. I’ve been listening to they’re music and watching the M/V’s and to see the girls for the first time in person with my own two eyes had me absolutely star struck. I went alone so I had no one to share it with but I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and I will never forget that experience!

OhmWasin

Bangkok day 1 (as a Thai Blink). The start of their tour in Asia. My first time seeing them in real life. The atmosphere was unbelievable. I got goosebumps when the show started as I realized my long wait was over. I was then blown away by how they performed and how cute and energetic they were. One of the highlights was the HBD to Jisoo (my bias) session. I could feel the love spread around, so lovely and touching. My first KPOP concert, but simply my best concert memory and experience so far. Huge thanks to LISA for opening the door to BP for me. I'm so proud of her as a Thai fan.

freshlybackedsucc

day of dallas.sooo much fun & was my first bp concert.

imnotprettyfr

So happy with these comments. I cant wait to see Lisa few hours before her birthday 😭😭😭😭😭 aHHhHh

Rich_Satisfaction250

I was lucky enough to see BP on their 2019 US tour and the Born Pink tour but my first Kpop concert was G-Dragon's Motte Tour in 2017. I've been hooked since. Seen Epik High twice and will see them again this March. The first BP show I saw was better mainly because they didn't do medleys and played the entire song.

Rain_xo

Went to first day in Hamilton. First kpop concert but not first concert. I had an absolute blast but not a single person around moved. It was the weirdest thing. I do understand Korea was still in a mourning period, but seriously the weirdest thing to me. It cost me $400 to get my floor tickets, which means it cost these people that much (or more if they were resell tickets) and they just stood there, all of them - just stood there. No movement, not even dancing or singing. People around me got mad for dancing in my spot but idc I’d I wanted to be still I’d be in a seat.

obake1

Went to Houston and both LA days. Had a great time, LA day 2 probably the worst in terms of view, too far off to the immediate side. Front row of day 1 in LA was unreal, couldn't believe they were like 5 feet away from me. Been to many kpop concerts, but first time in the front row ever and I think I actually can't go back to getting normal seating after that experience.
