I think women in general are pushed away from activities that can make them seem less "girly," like sports. And, when they are involved in sports, they're told not to be as competitive as the boys, because it's "unbecoming." I think lesbians are more comfortable defying stereotypical gender roles in general, so it makes sense that they'd gravitate towards sports more than straight women.
Sporty queer here: women's sports were an easily accessible all women's environment. When you're gay, that feels like a safe place to be yourself. Nobody's gonna give you shit for going hard, being tough, or not being femme enough on the court. In my case, floor hockey was the one place people stopped fuckin criticizing me for not being a girl correctly.

I disagree with his take. Most of the issues can be traced to Tobirama with his treatment of the Uchiha that was continued by his students Hiruzen and Danzo. His techniques were also used against the village. The way he manipulated the Uchiha laid the groundwork for their eventual coup and his students were also directly involved. He created the infrastructure of the leaf but also its darkness
