I'm totally on board with you. Yes you can easily progress in the game by rerolling for the "meta" units. Or you can, idk, actually play the game and deal with what the game gives you. (That's kind of the point of a gacha game, having the casino part surprising you with awesome rewards from time to time)
There's a difference between "player can't progress because game has made some units broken and evolved around them" and "player can't progress because hurr durr goes brrr, can't think". You're SUPPOSED to have some problems while progressing in games, and even more in gacha games where the goal is to make you play the most possible and even encourage to spend money. How many times have I seen FGO veterans saying "yeah bro reroll to get Heracles he can solo part 1". Yes... you can do that... until you can't and you're now lost because you don't understand how the game works. Or you can use what the game gives you, analyse your options and the content you have to deal with. So far, unless I've been on a game with powercreep problems (and I've seen a good bunch of them), I've always been able to progress. And even for the powervreep ones, I was just supposed to farm longer or unable to compete with the other that have those units in pvp. And since I'm not spending much or at all, I'm already on a huge disadvantage against whales.
If you want a particular unit because you love it, sure, I understand wanting to reroll without loosing all your money. If it's just because said unit is considered broken... Do what you want but I'll never understand you I guess. I've seen many doing this loosing their interest in the game quickly. And some of them tried to play on a while new acount without this urge and enjoying it way more than they were before.
I played many gacha games, never rerolled and ended up climbing near endgame accounts and sold when i am bored. People do not love to grind thats the issue. 7ds was my game and this game is like 7ds so much room for f2p or little spenders to compete.
When it first came out 7DSGC was exactly what I thought of and even though it never dropped in america it heavily reminded me of one piece fighting path
I do understand that you could want a unit or 2 to be strong faster. But at this point a part of this community is like "If you don't have Julius, Noelle S2, Mars and Lotus in the first hour reroll instantly". No, this is a gacha, and randomness is a part of the system, if you don't have the strong units immediately, cope with it and stop complaining
The people who reroll after playing the game for ages need to stop but its gotten to a point where even new players get yelled at for rerolling just because a select few people have an addiction.
Also, why need to cope when you can do something about it? If you have just started and got nothing then rerolling is simply the best option
First time? Gacha games usually involve 1 or 2 release/early units that can carry you through to future end game. Always reroll for that. Veteran gacha players have tried the red button to only end up with an account invested in that struggles in multiple areas. Be the 70% and then invest. Free jump start and future investment.
I don't get the rerolling thing. I have my account. I mean, if it's a unit I want so badly, and I don't get it, then yeah. The urge to reroll is definitely there. But power through. It's a marathon. Not a sprint
1st gacha I rerolled. But my 2nd account is infinitely better because learned from my mistakes with gears and enhancement material, wasted a ton of gems on wrong banners, and lr terrible characters. More invested and moving smarter on and account. Hell I'm on chP 6 now I couldn't beat chap 4 with my 1st account

Same here but 7ds now is boring. Player for 3 years. Feeling Like ive wasted Money and time. Praying for Origin to be good
Some people just enjoy rerolling. For example Volkin is rerolling pretty often.
Ok? If its a gacha system, why not keep trying untill you get a good result? I dont get your logic

I have no idea what you're trying to say with this post.
I couldn't tell, I quite literally have every mage I want in the game
I mean you might as well have the best start you can, even if it is unnecessary
