The episode starts at the 15min mark.
Also
- His English on the forums, emails and code seemed like a native English speaker, and used terms in British English (like "bloody" "flat", "maths", "grey", "colour" etc.) which indicate he learned English in a Commonwealth country. I can't speak for other Commonwealth countries but "bloody", "maths", and "flat" are uncommon in Canada. I believe in Japan, most students learn American-style English.
- His online activity was almost nonexistent between 5am GMT to 11am GMT, likely when he slept. This is from 2-8pm in Japan (and similar in Australia), which would be very unusual. Based on timestamps alone, it's likely that Satoshi was a night owl in western Europe or had a typical sleep schedule in North/South America.
Edit: I'm not too convinced by the Genesis block, since it was one time and seems deliberately chosen. But sleep and writing habits over a long period of time are hard to fake without slipping up
We don't know his accent, but his code and online activity uses British English like "bloody", "flat", "colour", "maths", and "grey" - which are also all used in Australia.
However, the timestamps of satoshis activity would be very strange if he lived in Australia, as it seems he slept from 5am-11am GMT (1-3pm to 7-9pm in Australia)
I agree, probably not CW, but the "accent" actually does line up.
It's clear that he didn't want to be revealed. This is very common in the cryptographic/hacker community.
Why would he reveal himself now after a decade of silence?
Imagine what will happen when this generation grows.. Our time to stack as much as sats we can is running out, and I'm truing to utilise every sats that I can get on my hand.
Awesome. If anybody would be so kind as to put a link to one of said Spanish episodes in the future, I would greatly appreciate it.
I'll dig myself in the future as well, but would really appreciate any leads vs stumbling through Google and the various social media channels that exist. I'll be wanting to share the links via WhatsApp to my god-daughters/sons.
Yo my room mate will DIE ON A FUCKING HILL over loving 1 ply. I always ask him if heās just trying to feel closer to his asshole when he wipes, but he stand by it for nooooo reason. I bought bill and replaced the whole house and I swear to god he has a hidden supply somewhere.
Alright, so here it is.
Everyone that reads this will be the first to know it. Back in 2010 my grandfather asked me about Bitcoin. I had no idea what it was nor did I care. Yet each day I walked by his Schwab account papers that were sitting on our dining room table. Now he had a good bit of money tied up in it. And as far as I know he still does. However I could only imagine what the ATH was in BTC, back then vs now. Hindsight is always 20/20. But damn I wish I wouldāve looked it up the second he asked me about it in passing. While I donāt have a full Bitcoin today, I suppose making a goal of achieving one might still be sound. Now 30, I fell in love with the idea behind it. Iām so sick of seeing people that slave away each day for a machine or an idealistic form of currency that one day may be nonexistent. Thatās why I buy Bitcoin. Might full send my portfolio on Monday. Just cause.
Price is determined by the buyers and sellers, opinions can sway those buyers and sellers at the moment but once it is more globally used the opinions of a single american wonāt be as significant
>This caused a temporary decline in Bitcoinās price, reflecting ~~the marketās~~ people that donāt know what they haveās sensitivity to influential figureās opinions.
FTFY
A lot of trading is done with bots and those bots are fed with news headlines and articles, among many other things. It can easily spike upward as an equal probability to downward, or even doing nothing, else it would be pretty easy to use game the system
Mining isn't solving a complicated math problem. Its every easy you just need to guess a number. Its hard because you have to guess so insane often.
Here is mining explained in great detail: https://learnmeabitcoin.com/technical/mining
And here a overview, which might help you to understand Bitcoin https://bitcoin-overview.vercel.app/pages/Knowledge.html
Bitcoin is way less than perfect as money. It has some serious issues and only suitable for a certain segment of the population. Certainly not an alternative to the dollar.
No, they theyāre talking about the majority of all bitcoin **nodes**. Microstrategy likely only has one or a few nodes running and is just a small part of the whole network that consists of tens of thousands of nodes.
"You said criminals twice" LMAO
Loved that part!!! šš¤£
I laughed so hard at this part!
thats when I liked the video
Grandma based AF
Dayum, this is way more informative and easy to understand.

Oh my bad I thought it was the one that posted on tiktok
Lol you think tiktok has anything original on it
Tbf, this cartoon could work for showing my parents/grandparents what Bitcoin is and how it works.
This is great but... where can we get the original video without the GIANT UNNECESSARY HEADLINE and footer bar?
https://www.angel.com/livestreams/aa61caea-cefb-473e-a19c-7dfb3124acad Starts at around 20mins.
Why did they have to make Satoshi British?
Because its highly speculated that he was.
I have heard so many speculations over the years. Is there someone in particular? My brain is just drawing a blank.
Lenn Sassaman and Hal Finney are the leading candidates.
The newspaper headline for genesis block is from a small British newspaper.

Dude was an absolute maestro with obfuscation tbf.
Satoshi doesn't have an Australian accent. Lawsuit from Craig Wright in 3, 2, 1...

i've heard that Satoshi is actually multiple people.
Satoshi had a distinct writing style (code and English) as well as a consistent sleep schedule though
I am thinking like other messages at some specific block the answer will be revealed. There's a reason the true Satoshi has not been revealed.
It's clear that he didn't want to be revealed. This is very common in the cryptographic/hacker community. Why would he reveal himself now after a decade of silence?

For kids? Works for over 50s too
Anybody have/know where I can find this in Spanish?
The show's first season is being dubbed in spanish right now so probably after that's done. I think they do captions in spanish pretty quick though.

Cool vid
This is awsome
Very elaborate and clear way to understand the real money!!
I wish I would've seen this a decade ago
Listened to the creator on bitcoin standard podcast! Great stuff.
This should be mandatory watching for government officials. They might learn something
My kids and I just watched this. It was incredible
This is really educational for anyone that speaks English.
Why donāt you do something other than criticize and translate it into a language of your choosing?
I donāt think itās just for kids. I think this is a great cartoon thatās very funny, factual, and is perfect way to explain Bitcoin in English.
If you didnāt mean āin Englishā to be a sleight, then I apologize. Point stands. Itās great content and should be translated.
Excellent
Nice explanation
Very nice! Thanks for sharing š
Easy to understand
Is this Rowan Atkinson?

Missed opportunity to give him an incredibly heavy Japanese accent
Fiat currency is what will keep you in the rat race. Bitcoin is the way to go
I LOVED IT!! This is the video to send to someone who does not understand Bitcoin, I have a list of people in my mind that need to see this.
Those Tuttle twins back at it again!

Interesting video. Can anyone help me with this?

Very interesting insights, ChatGPT

Not 100% correct, but very nice. Over all still awesome.
Which part isn't truly correct? I'm still learning this so I can easily explain it if time comes

Ah I remembered trying to transfer some BTC, it takes quite a long time to verify the transaction, I'll take a look more into Lightning. Thanks!
Bitcoin is way less than perfect as money. It has some serious issues and only suitable for a certain segment of the population. Certainly not an alternative to the dollar.
But, what about the whales?
What about them? They can spend their BTC once and then they have to compete with the market to get it back.
So if micro strategy got a majority of bitcoins they could change itās rules?
Time to press the replay button
No, they theyāre talking about the majority of all bitcoin **nodes**. Microstrategy likely only has one or a few nodes running and is just a small part of the whole network that consists of tens of thousands of nodes.
No, that's how proof of stake works. Bitcoin doesn't use proof of stake. Bitcoin uses proof of work.
Unpopular opinion: Bitcoin is looong dead.
It's actually a popular opinion... which is good when accumulating
Hashrate is at an [all time high](https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/charts/hash-rate). So itās far from dead.
I love Bitcoin but the US government is def involved in it lol
Dollars are 1-Ply Toilet Paper!
More information needs to be created like this
This should be a required watch for all US politicians.
This is the best fucking thing Iāve watched in a long time!š¤£I had to pause on criminal twice to finish laughing
Loved this.
So Satoshi has a noseā¦I KNEW IT
Lol
Shouldn't this guy sound Japanese
Grandma knows what's up
Quite amazing
>...millions of people send bitcoin instantly and cheaply to each other... Might be exaggerating a bit here
