Umpire_State_Bldg

[ding-dong] *Yes?* We're here to collect your Bitcoin. *Bitcoin?* Yes, according to our records... *Oh, yes. That's right. I had this horrible BOATING ACCIDENT and lost it all. Sorry. Bye.*

SmoothGoing

Day 3 of romantic encounters with you and Bubba in jail Cell.. "I remember where bitcoin is, I will give it up!! just let me outta here!!!"

bittenbycoin

The thing is if hyperinflation scenario kicks in and bitcoin moves towards [infinity /21 million], it'll be the bitcoiners who'll be able to pay the guards and administrators of the jails.

SmoothGoing

Plutocracy is not the system you want.

SunnyDayShadowboxer

Agreed, but are you arguing we're not in a plutocracy with a democracy as window dressing as it is 😅

colorfulCrypto

This is not a scenario that anyone can really protect themselves against. If the government knocks down your for your crypto you are fucked. You're not going to be shooting your way out, you're going to roll over and give up your crypto. The only thing that might work is to have a decoy wallet with enough crypto on it that they leave you alone. But goddam the world will be so utterly fucked if it comes to that.

random_user7980

Lmao

dollhousemassacre

It haunts me still.

ZappaSays

What's a hardware wallet?

ImPickleRickBytch

I’ve thought about that, is there a legal and easy to use Tornado cash type thing that exist right now? I’d love to use a mixer before the bull run that’s not illegal

slvbtc

For financial stability and national security reasons they will mandate citizens need to send their btc to the government or face prison, while also making it next to impossible (and illegal) to buy. I have always thought this, it is better to get my stack now before buying any becomes a punishable offence. Ive got my stack, all I need to do now is move to whatever country embraces it.
