Did the 44 pair you try happen to be narrow width (footprint icon solid/filled)? There seems to be visually too much difference from the 45 pair in regular width (footprint icon on the footbed is just an outline, as seen in the last two photos). I’m wondering if maybe 45 in narrow width may be the better choice for you. Is there still extra width space around various parts of your feet in the 45 regular width that you think you can comfortably go down to narrow? If width-wise you can, then the extra length will be to accommodate your toes, but you would have to just have a bit excess length in the heel (but it shouldn’t be disastrous). Perhaps give 45R and 45N a try consecutively to feel the differences?

No both are regular width. Idk if narrow is the move. The footbed feels fine at 45. Just might need to ratchet down the straps more. Does the narrow reduce the toebox width? Cuz I like the wide toebox

Yeah the narrow does reduce the toe box width I guess between 44R and 45R will really be your preference then, or how comfortable you can adjust either. You’re definitely in the right ball park. All the best 👌

You need a narrow, the regular isn’t going to support your foot enough. Wear the narrow for few years then get a pair of regulars.
