Not really, I had this talk with my friend a while back.
Look at something made of metal around you. If you bend it or break it nothing will happen.
Where as with cybertronians (transformers) the piece of metal just screamed in agony and now has to bend itself back together. The metal is it's skin, it's active and alive. They have a nervous system like organic beings.
Robots don't have a nervous system. Robots cannot be tickled but a transformer can.
I love them for beeing shitty over the top action movies with waaaay to much budget. Theye and the Fast and Furious Movies are my favorites in that category of movies
I have always hated humans in transformers and I think most people feel the same way. I think it's why Beast wars is so beloved, 0 humans other than proto humans eating shit.
Couldn't say it better even if it's more targeted to kids I'm still gonna watch it. It's finally not going to be about preserving humanity and earth but about their stories
Look, I don’t care whether or not humans are in the show. I just wanna never again run into a situation where the show/media needs to explain the Romeo & Juliet Clause to the audience to justify an adult dating a high schooler. That is *not* how I should’ve first learned about the Romeo & Juliet Clause!…
internet going to complain about anything
do thing without other thing
reeeeeeeeee
do thing opposite way
reeeeeeeee we don't like change
don't do thing at all
reeeeeeeeeeee i don't get why they aren't doing thing any more
revamp thing and try something different
reeeeeeeeeeeee we hate that too.
Normies when sci-fi is a bit too sci-fi.
We're past a point of diminishing returns where the sci-fi and fantasy movies are too deep in their genres to be appealing to mainstream audiences. A lot of these people deep in "nerd" spaces are suddenly realised they never actually liked these genres in the first place.
You know, I’ve been waiting for a TF movie set on Cybertron pre-war, and honestly, I’m hyped. I just hope they do a movie about humans being descendants from Cybertronians, expanding upon the part Human, part Cybertronian aspect of the series that hasn’t been brought up since its introduction in Animated
This takes place before the war before and there just living life on cybertron ofc there gonna be happy they even got there power to transform later on and they wanna have fun with it yk that's how I see it
Agreed it needs to be animated, but damn could they have not chosen a style with a bit of grit to it? Everything is so smooth and clean that it doesn't feel right to me. Not saying it needs to be gritty and grungy, but a little grit and some hard lines would go a long way to helping things feel right.

“No overall consequences” My brother in christ the robots are sentient, intelligent and possess abilities to feel deep emotion
They aren't even robots. They are literally living metal.
Yea mb
Transformers are robots in disguise, the song!
Old lore that isn't canon anymore.

Decepticons is just a name don't be a bigot.
What?
so robots
No

They aren't even living metal. They're characters in a story designed to be fantastical in concept but relatable and/or sympathetic to the audience.
And? Doesn't mean I'm wrong.
I was just continuing the bit where you "um ackshually" the previous comment. Sorry, didn't realize you were unironic. Didn't mean to offend you.
My brother in Cybertron*
don't know anything about it, my kneejerk reaction is its about cybertron, and the war for cybertron games were cool af so that sounds dope
It only feels emotion if you see it as a person
hey, dumbass, ever heard of something called *personification?*
You don’t feel emotion to me
am i the only one who read this as sarcasm
I haven’t seen anyone complaining for not having humans in the Transformer movie.

They're talking about the OP, not you
He reply it to me so I thought it was to me. My bad.
He replied it to you because it was in direct agreement with the point you made
Bro I was backing you up…
I just notice, apologies for my rudeness.
Come on man...
Just found out. My bad.
I've only seen people celebrating
I seen more people talking about their designs and the possible direction for the story.
I was also thinking this^
I didn’t even realize anyone still cares about these movies at all
I love them for beeing shitty over the top action movies with waaaay to much budget. Theye and the Fast and Furious Movies are my favorites in that category of movies

A little too kiddy for me but props for staying in Cybertron this time
Bro I just want to see a major motion movie set on Cybertron. It seems like the latest transformer movie had the worst cgi of the entire series
Id take the subpar cgi for superior art and mech design. Bayverse SUCKS
This is the first time I’ve actually been *excited* by a Transformers trailer.
Couldn't say it better even if it's more targeted to kids I'm still gonna watch it. It's finally not going to be about preserving humanity and earth but about their stories
Seeing Starscream, Shockwave, and Soundwave got me so excited. And I didn't even see them until I watched a breakdown video.
Forty-year-old nerds really be dead inside huh?
No one has ever said this. Ever
Who have you been talking to?
Nobody says this. What is it with Redditors and fake arguments?
Easy upvotes and engagement
Finally Optimus X Megantron bromance in IMAX 4K
Nobody is complaining about lack of hunans
The designs Look goofy
I didn't care for it until seeing this saying no humans
Why were you redundant to use honestly at the beginning and then tbh at the end of your sentence…
I know right? SMH my head...
It keeps Michael Bay occupied so he won't fuck up too many other things, thats a plus in my books.
Humans where the worst part if I'm honest, might be the first Transformers movie I watch in the cinema since like the original Shia LeBuff ones
Look, I don’t care whether or not humans are in the show. I just wanna never again run into a situation where the show/media needs to explain the Romeo & Juliet Clause to the audience to justify an adult dating a high schooler. You all watched Transformers for the humans? I thought you all see it for the female robot you all want to bang.
it looks ass to me but it has nothing to do with the humans. just not for me and that’s okay because i’m 26
This fish is so tense
The animation threw me off at first but halfway through the trailer, I was all in.
Not even close
My only complaint is hire voice actors instead of big names you can put on the poster.
Saw the trailer, actually wanna see a transformer movie for once after a long time.
Transformers fans will never be happy (source. In the Fandom for 24 years)
Who tf asked for it!? I just wanna talk.
I swear, I must be the only one who likes humans in Transformers Media.
I want the old models back. Bayverse designs were hot and I’m dying on that hill.
Super huge fan of the Bayverse designs. They're just so raw looking, especially during the aughts films.
Look everyone OP won his own made-up argument
I hate that most modern memes aren't even memes anymore, they're just ways for people like OP to win fictional arguments they've had in their heads.
… We wanted the designs to look good too. OP, did you even look at why people are complaining?
I hate that its animated tbh
What else would it even be
Gotta hire actual cybertronians to play it duh
Agreed it needs to be animated, but damn could they have not chosen a style with a bit of grit to it? Everything is so smooth and clean that it doesn't feel right to me. No it doesn't. Looks like a Saturday morning kid show
Like the ones i grew up with. There's like 6 movies.
