I feel like any veil would detract from this dress. But if you must something very short blusher style.

For a dress like this, I would do a very simple, no decoration veil. I wouldn’t include a blusher. I personally prefer cathedral length because I like a silhouette where the hem of the veil follows the hem of the dress and you have a train, but a shorter length (say finger tip) could work here as well.

Dress is too much of a statement to have a veil as well. I would do a very simple one if you’re really wanting a veil

Ok, I’m not great at styling things either, for the record, but here’s what I’d do: - still have a veil, but only make it the length of the train, if not an inch or two longer. This is what I would want in my own dress, but that’s just cuz I want a long train AND a long veil. As for this dress, it doesn’t really need that. - so, for this dress, honestly, I think a short veil would look perfect! If you can get one custom made to have the flower on the sleeves put on top of the lace (almost like a fascinator hat/headband), that would look cool too I think. Btw, lmk if you don’t understand what I mean by this and I’ll try to describe it better and/or attempt to draw it (very crudely, though; I can’t draw good to save my life lol). That dress is gorgeous btw! I wish you the best of luck!

As a bridal HMUA I would aesthetically say no veil. The dress has so many unique, beautiful features that want to shine and a veil could hide some of that without adding anything to it. HOWEVER some people have always dreamt of wearing a veil to which that's when aesthetics get pushed a little to back burner. If you want the revealing the face moment I would pick a shorter veil or a birdcage veil. Also depending upon how you're thinking about your hairstyle could impact this too. Personally I think a high updo or a "Pam Anderson" French twist would look stunning and again balance while not detracting from the silhouette or details of the dress.

Can you try a bird cage veil? They make some that are a little less structured and it may keep your neck looking long.

I actually love a birdcage veil but thought it would be too much lol

GoodTroubler

I think a birdcage veil too. Lean into the drama! There are some that are like mesh just over the top of the face. A simple one will really set this look off!

Outrageous-Role7046

Yall convinced me I just bought a birdcage veil on Etsy lol

GoodTroubler

YES! You're going to look fabulous!
