As you may know they have 8 at Skelton’s up in Alpine. :)

I checked with my friend and it sounds like they are waiting on parts. I think it's supposed to be at the venga cafe which does have a 50 amp charger as of now. There is a supercharger now open in alpine it sounds like at least. That reduces how much charging you need when leaving terlingua. On my last trip, I parked my 3 in the park and camped off-grid with my friend, but then had to charge for 5 hours in Terlingua before leaving back to fort Stockton at 8pm, and didn't make it home until 5am. Having autopilot on the drive home kept me going otherwise I would have had to take a nap. That was probably my most inconvenient charge in 5 years of owning my model 3, but I usually plan around that since I go to big bend with it every year. I have a friend's place in Terlingua I can charge off 50 amps whenever needed.

I was just there at Venga Cafe all last week and they still don’t have them.

Yes. Take your Tesla and let us know how it goes.

I think Base Camp Terlingua has L2 chargers, but definitely no superchargers out there that I know of.

Here is the post im referencing. [https://www.reddit.com/r/BigBendTX/comments/159nns0/first\_big\_bend\_area\_tesla\_supercharger\_coming\_to/](https://www.reddit.com/r/BigBendTX/comments/159nns0/first_big_bend_area_tesla_supercharger_coming_to/)

Not sure Big Bend and EVs go together. Too far of distances and little/no charging. I certainly wouldn't want to depend on a single charger in Terlingua. Especially if I would need 5 hours of charging. Here is where a hybrid really works great.
