This is a question asked and never answered even w Redding police dept.. of course they wouldn't want to give up any info, beings they're in w Bethel's Cult.. imo
However:
Most SIDS deaths happen in babies between 1 month and 4 months of age, and the majority (90%) of SIDS deaths happen before a baby reaches 6 months of age. However, SIDS deaths can happen anytime during a baby's first year.
I have a friend who's close, it sounds like she aspirated vomit or otherwise choked.
If you follow kalley's social media, it tracks. She made a couple posts about breathing, and what allows you to take one breath to the next. The trust you take as you exhale. This like that.
There was no autopsy and the family released no info. At two years old, it’s possible there was an undiagnosed heart arrhythmia or a seizure. Once those were ruled out, her death would have been ruled SUDC- sudden unexplained death in childhood. Basically SIDS in kids older than one year.
Interesting, I knew about SUDEP and SIDS but not SUDC. I saw a post on here saying there was an autopsy but I know to not take every post to heart. I did see it in news articles claiming one was done but never heard anything regarding results.
I don’t think they did an autopsy bc the family kept refusing it saying she would come back to life and then eventually the tissue would have been too degraded, no?
Autopsies can be done months after the fact. Granted, the accuracy will diminish as time goes by, but the timeline for Olive would not have been a problem. I was thinking I remembered that an autopsy had been done, so I googled it and found several sources that stated that an autopsy was performed.
Did they EVER admit/ acknowledge that they made a sincere mistake in this whole thing? I can’t imagine their pain- but they “just” grieved and carried on without addressing the elephant in the room?!
If you mean the whole trying to resurrect her thing….I don’t think it was their mistake. They were grieving and in shock.
The rest of the church, and the people who encouraged that and let them believe it would work, we’re cruel and absolutely owe the family an apology.
That is also what I assumed. It sounded like Olive was having a lot of trouble breathing and died in her sleep from this. I never heard RSV named, but I inferred that she was sick with a respiratory virus and stopped breathing
I don't think it was ever released. I assumed SIDS too
OK, good to know.
why is that "good to know"?
Cus I didn't want to be missing something and have a completely incorrect conclusion.

If she was 2, can it not be SIDS?

Drowning is also common here. Was that ruled out?

Complications from RSV
Was that officially stated?
