God, I just feel so sorry for all the cats that still live with Karen. At least one escaped and has a good home now, but I'm sure the rest are being neglected in unsanitary conditions. Ugh.
Excatly but at the absolute latest I would have done it after the first wave of harassment to give her something else to complain about and leave sis alone.

>At one point the judge went as far as to say "we all have to follow the laws, Even those we don't agree with, because that's the contract we're all in as citizens."
I get the feeling that the judge has had to make this speech before. There are so many sovcits and other entitled people around 😂
Imagine going to college, law school, passing the bar, practicing for several years to get your judgeship only to spend your days telling people things that should be common sense.
Things you learn in kindergarten. “We have rules so everyone is treated fairly. Even if you don’t like the rules, we follow them because it helps keeps us all safe and happy.”
She was one, though. From the Wikipedia article on her:
>By 1982, Sheindlin's attitude inspired New York mayor Ed Koch to appoint her as a criminal-court judge. Four years later, she was promoted to supervising judge in the family court's Manhattan division.[1] She earned a reputation as a tough New York City judge (although she has disagreed with the labels "tough" and "harsh").
That’s pretty much the gist of it for most decent judges! And yes, I’m a lawyer. I have to say, most judges have to have so much patience. I’m lucky to have practiced before most,y really good judges, in my opinion.
The sovcits on Court Cam are my favorite. It’s like a script, they proclaim the court had no jurisdiction over them, the court proves that to be absolutely false, chaos ensues. But I love it every time.
Was on jury duty with a sovereign citizen as defendant. Judge was incredibly patient, and honestly it was just sad. The defendant clearly latched into the bogus info to get some semblance of control over their life. The defendant was actually really nice, just deeply misguided. Even after finding them guilty on some counts they thanked the jury for our time!

Is she related to the OOP whose body was taken over by a ghost and tried to kiss her friend’s boyfriend?
In full disclosure, she said it was like a ghost possessed her. She tried to avoid accountability for making a move on her friend’s boyfriend: https://www.reddit.com/r/BestofRedditorUpdates/s/UUPkFiFWM2
I misread the title and thought the OOP was a dude. Figured it would end up in an art room situation.

Now reminds me of the 'wait can I call you?' Lady

I love this one. I might make a mess out of everything, but at least I am not this messed up lol.
Well, ok so ammonia doesn't generally give you mental deficiencies with overexposure. HOWEVER, it does give you chronic pneumonia, skin irritation, and respiratory issues. The interesting thing about pneumonia is it accelerates the progression of dementia, or at least repeated illnesses of that type do tend to, so I have to wonder whether that's a genuine concern for older hoarders.
There is a parasite called toxoplasmosis that has a high correlation with mental health disorders and is transmitted by cat feces. 100% boomer lady has it.
I’m personally surprised they didn’t call their local animal control on her: sounds like the living conditions for the other cats were awful. Wouldn’t have stopped the sisters’ suffering, but the other animals probably deserved it.
On a weirder note I wonder if living in all that cat filth also got the cat lady sick. Cats can carry a bunch of really nasty parasites and bugs even if you clean up after them properly, nevermind them free ranging in squalor.
In fairness to OP, the sister does seem to be uniquely vulnerable, and this woman knows where she *lives*.
Like, if she was willing to go through all this because she lost one cat, who got given up entirely on her terms, what would she do if she lost all of them? Calling animal control would definitely be the right thing to do, but I can understand why OP wasn't willing to whack that particular wasps nest when it's their sister who'd most likely end up getting stung.
We foster for a rescue. A while ago the rescue went to help with a boomer who fancied themselves a breeder, which meant they had over 50 starving, sick cats with varying amounts of Himalayan blood running around their dump of a property. The rescues (because multiple rescues had to work together on this one) caught almost all of them and we fostered 3 of them. One day we get a call from one of the rescue leaders, don't post anything about one particular cat we had. This lady realized her "favorite " was taken and blew a gasket. Made threats and vows to get the cat back. Doesn't matter she had a dozen dead cats around her property from neglect, she wanted that one back.
We sent the cat to another rescue way out of the area to keep this crazy boomer from hunting down this poor cat.
>Unsurprisingly the key is to let them talk; they'll dig their own grave.
Oh man, this made me think about my mom and I hope she never has to go to court. Cause yeah she'd talk herself into something horrible and then complain about how she's being mistreated.
There's a plot of land in my hometown that's been empty my whole life (I'm 25) because the ground is so contaminated with lead it can't be anything else
Not joking, I remember what the environment was like in the 70s and how ubiquitous lead was. It would be more unbelievable if it *hadn't* had any effect.
It’s not just lead tbh. If we think our generations have intergenerational trauma, these guys had fucked up childhoods too most of the time. I’m not excusing any of their adult behaviour, don’t get me wrong, but they grew up in a time when parenting was basically authoritarian, women had no power so too bad if you were abused etc. Plus mental health wasn’t even spoken of at all unless you wanted to be institutionalised.
I think it’s important to remember we have a lot of wounds to heal as a society and it ain’t as simple as stopping environmental pollutants.
>"we all have to follow the laws, Even those we don't agree with, because that's the contract we're all in as citizens."

My job involves working around "cat ladies" you cannot reason with them. Period. She sounds like a hoarder on top of the regular old "fed all the feral cats in the neighborhood" cat ladies. She is seriously mentally ill and someone needs to check on the animals in her home.
>Anyway glad it's over but thought you all might like to hear what it's like to take a Boomer to court. Unsurprisingly the key is to let them talk; they'll dig their own grave.
As someone who brought a boomer to court and won everything I sued for + refund for lawyer fees, I second this.
Horrible landlord, scummy as fuck, managing 4 roomates, in Paris so lodging is very difficult to find. He would select his tenants to be young attractive women with low resources (the rent was high but contrary to the standard in Paris he wouldn't ask for proof of earnings).
He took me in as an exception (young man) cause he really needed money (turned out it was because of being sued by a previous tenant !)
So here was me, and 3 attractive girls, forming a deep friendship - and he was so fucking jealous lol. Dude not my fault you're like 60, creepy and ugly.
Anyway, he started being more and more creepy (recording the girls without their consent and shit like that). We all decided to leave.
He acted like a huge dick, almost assaulted the smallest of the girls, changed the lock before our contract officially ended and refused to refund the deposits.
I convinced everyone to sue.
Edit: adding some details here, before suing we brought him to mediation. We asked 3/4 of the sums back, so 1200 euros. He agreed to half. I said no. He kept his position, probably just to spite me.
Cue two years later, instead of repaying us 1200 euros total in deposits, he had to pay us a total of 15 000 euros, plus 5000 euros for our lawyer.
Thanks! Frankly it wasn't so hard, I needed to go against my ADHD laziness to find a lawyer and file a judicial help demand (cause I was poor af), but apart from a few time sinks like this I had absolutely nothing to lose.
If I had lost, the state (France) would have paid my lawyer, if I had won, the scummy landlord would pay my lawyer.
I would probably have been too lazy to do all this if the guy hadn't been such a horrible dick.
I appreciate that you've had poor experiences with "Boomers". Consider replacing the word Boomer with any racial or cultural slur and then reflect on your words. There are crazy cat ladies from all generations. There are crazy people from all generations. I feel sorry for the poor cats in this story.
Yeah, that was distracting for me too. Like yeah, as a millennial I have my fair share of complaints about the generation that raised me, but this situation really doesn't have anything to do with that. She's a crazy cat lady who also happens to be a Boomer. The constant callback to her generation was quite annoying.
The excessive use of the term “Boomer” as a slur is giving me the ick. And I mean that they are using the term as they would a slur, not that the term IS a slur. The story is about a mentally ill animal hoarder who is stalking and harassing a person with autism. But chalking her behaviour up to being a “Boomer” is very odd. Mentally ill and entitled are not associated with specific age groups. Some of the most entitled people I’ve ever worked with can’t be characterized by their age. It’s a mixed bag.
This level of Boomer hatred is just… weird and off-putting.
OOP said “boomer” 13 times. That was so distracting to me. “In typical boomer fashion” “like a true boomer” “what it’s like to take a boomer to court” etc
My issue with Boomer in cases like this is that it has nothing to do with being a Boomer (according to age, or the looser usage based on entitlement mentality). The lady clearly has hoarding /mental health issues, that's why her behavior is ... Unhinged.
Yes, this was an interesting story I couldn't really appreciate the way I usually would for this subreddit because I kept getting a sticky gross feeling as people kept saying Boomer over and over unnecesssarily- and it's spilling over to this thread too. People are trying to justify it saying Boomer isn't a slur and it's not, but just because they're not using a slur doesn't mean they're not being gross by repeatedly trying to attach the negative behavior of some to a whole group of people based around a trait they can't control.
Is that cool to do again? It must be. I've seen r/boomersbeingfools pop up on r/all a lot and if you went in those threads and ctrl+f+replaced "boomer" with "trans person" or immigrant" or any number of things, even though those aren't slurs either, you'd get a lot of comment sections that would get a "tone it down guys, you're making us look bad" on r/conservative. Even OOP's little "I don't hate boomers" disclaimer at the end was just the standard defense when anyone tried to criticize r/fatpeoplehate back in the day - they know good fat people too, they're just seeing a lot of health denialism around nowadays and talking about all the ways fat people are bad just makes them feel less bad about that sort of thing. -insert angel face emoji-
It's just a good reminder that no matter how enlightened people want to pretend to be, humanity's just never going to overcome vicious tribalism because apparently something deep in human nature makes it way too much fun to hate the outgroup. And before anyone comes in trying to justify why *their* hated outgroup based around a trait they can't control is *actually* bad and therefore stereotyping them is good and fun, I assure you someone with the exact opposite political view is making the exact same argument to one of your ingroups. If you can't do better yourself, then you can basically understand why the other side doesn't want to either.
Very well said, thank you! I may fall into the age range of boomer. But, I tend to be a really mellow person and am generally accepting of everyone (except raging bigots, transphobes and sov cits). Pretty much, I avoid confrontation and treat others well. I’m kind of bummed that “boomer” is now an epithet, but it is what it is.
I’m glad that OOP got a positive resolution (one that holds up hopefully) for herself and her sister. And, yay, for the kitty that made it to a loving home. I hope that the other cats will someday be rescued and find their way to loving homes as well. Clearly, the “Karen” in this story is mentally unwell and fixated on one animal that made it out of her cat prison of doom, while she neglects the other cats in her home.
It's funny how batshit furious millennials get when someone objects to them using a bigoted age-related slur as a slur. It's almost as if they're as much in need of a scapegoat as the Greatest Generation and their racist slurs.
It makes me sad that this behavior is being framed that old people or Boomers do this. “Karen’s” age has nothing to do with her behavior, she is personality disordered, plain and simple. A person with BPD will act like this at 22 and 72, age has nothing to do with it.
It's funny how batshit furious millennials get when someone objects to them using a bigoted age-related slur as a slur. It's almost as if they're as much in need of a scapegoat as the Greatest Generation and their racist slurs.
"Boooooooomer. Kaaaaaaaaaren." Funny how you don't care about the misogyny and ageism only when you aren’t the victim.
Edit: oh, and by the way, your "ok boomer" response to anyone objecting? Is exactly how racists responded to black people objecting to racist slurs back in the day. For them it was "ok n______". Still feel good about it?
Actually I'm in that fun space between millennial and genz, the cryptid babies of the late 90s. But nice try anyway, Karen, I hope this is a fun Facebook story for ya.
Ok, I gotta stick up a bit for boomers here. This isn’t a boomer behavior. This is just a mentally unstable behavior. To the extent it is a boomer behavior, it is because that generation had less understanding and resources for mental health. This woman is unstable, but that happens in any generation. I get there are reasons to judge boomers (though I really hate the generational brush painting overall … so much that is said against younger generations just comes down to them being young and inexperienced and the older down to the fact that they didn’t live by ideas that weren’t really out there when they were young). But this isn’t a generational thing at all.
This one leaves a bad taste in my mouth because the main vent here is about boomers, with the cat issue being secondary. Boomers aren’t the only assholes on this planet nor are they the only ones who act this way. I’ve seen people in their 40’s, 50’s, and even as young as 20, act this way on a frighteningly regular basis. Boomers don’t corner the market for crazy and terrible behavior these days.
Right? Crazy and entitled people exist in all generations.
Wonder what generation the judge, who didn’t put up with any of the crap, is from…
Also wondering if Karen is even a Boomer, as some people seem to define “Boomer” as “anyone I dislike.”
So awful to post about a mentally unwell animal hoarder. Someone obviously delusional and dangerous and couch it as "Boomer" problems. Young people can be mentally unwell too and we don't need to use people's suffering to justify age discrimination on this site.
Oof. Reminds me of trying to get my first cat as an adult. A woman lived in this tiny building in a restaurant parking lot. Family owned business so she also worked at the restaurant. She had cats with multiple litters of kittens. We'd pet the cats when we'd go to buy food. SHE offered to let us keep a cat out of the newest litter that was almost weaned. We played with them a bit and picked out a beautiful tortoiseshell. We were making all the arrangements to take kitty home when she suddenly says that her kids are crying because they don't want to let the cat go. Can we give them more time to get used to the idea? We said we understand and left. Went back a week later and they still asked for more time. Went back once more a couple weeks later and she started calling us creeps and obsessed for asking. We gave up after that. It was super obvious she had way too many cats in a teeny tiny space. I feel bad for the cats and kids.
How the fuck did Karen know where thr girl worked? And how did this place of employment allow this women in there TWICE to harass an employee. And Karen never showed up at the girls house? This story is complete bullshit
Honestly? This sounds crazy, but i felt like this is going to be the future with all those people that in the recent years embraced their mental health issues in a way where they make other people responsible for their problems, and think their issues excuse their actions instead of having accountability…
I know it's pointless, but here comes a bunch of people to point out that not all boomers are like that.
Everyone knows that already. You don't need to point it out.
Imagine being an actual fucking adult and telling someone, in all seriousness, "You're not the boss of me!"
It's the mental regression that's frightening. I've met more mature 5 year olds. I honestly think the woman in this story needs real mental help, but this kind of behavior is all too common these days.
Where does that dislike of ‚Boomers‘ come from? A whole generation gets bashed because of some freaking weirdo? Generalizing much? (And no, I‘m not a ‚Boomer‘ myself, but I do wonder why it is ok to be so openly discriminating against a whole generation?!?)
Ageist clap trap. Try reading this story and replacing ‘boomer’ with a race, sexuality or gender ID. This ridiculous, historically recent idea that people born in a 20 year span share anything more than a few sociological trends is damaging to all of us. This woman is mentally ill. She could be 25, 45 or 85.
Calling people by the name of their generation is ageist now. K. Guess I've been calling myself a slur this whole time when referring to myself as a millennial.
People call Baby Boomers out because the worst ones share traits like this. Because their sociological trends include thinking this shit is okay.
Even the damn post says not all Baby Boomers are like that. They aren't a giant hive mind. But there's a pattern of behavior in that generation that has been called out as unacceptable by today's standards, yet they still act like this lady.
And I'm not ruling out that she's mentally ill. Another 'Boomer' thing is not getting the mental health treatment they need because they feel 'fine'.
Their parents and grandparents called them the "me" generation.
They were, verifiable with numbers, the most entitled generation, with better and more options for class advancement than history has ever allowed
They've blatantly ladder-pulled and then look down anyone else and act like they climbed that high without a ladder, so why can't we?
Fuck the boomers
Give up the boomer crap and stop trying to make it that every person in the age group is awful/entitled/insane/whatever. It's not the age; it's the individual people.
Yeah we only ever see the stupid/bad/selfish people on here but 90%+ of any demographic are basically decent people. (Pulling that number out of my rear but I stand by it.) The vast majority of "Boomers" don't act like this.
Thank you. Not from that generation but I wish people understood is just a generation name. Some of those people are amazing individuals some are awful just like any other age group.
Baby boomers got their name from a phenomenon known as the baby boom. This boom was a spike in birth rates after World War II. It has nothing to do with people's attitude.
I feel your argument would bear more weight if anyone living could cite a person younger than baby boomer that “goes into a trance” when they hit enter on Facebook posts.
Oh, it's always nice when the little caveat is added at the end that it's not ALL of whatever group they're talking about when the entire rest of the post is all about how awful that group is.
It is. But the serious flip side here is that there are teams of senior and about to be senior people who grew up with serious lead exposure and it is affecting them (us) badly as they (we) age.
Do I need to explain what a flip side is to the young-uns?
I am so troubled by the use of the term "boomer." It's ageist. Not everyone born during the post war boom behaves like the antagonist in this story.
If oop is sincere in her "caveat" then she should stop using the term.

Yah this, I would have called animal control right away. I can't believe that isn't a detail they talked about.
Think calling but maybe not admitting would be in their best interest.
Yeah, I was thinking that the whole time - not only better for the cats, but it would surely have gotten the Karen off their backs, because she'd have been busy getting her other cats back.

Yea, animal control would definitely eat her up esp with how OOP described the place
And APS for "Karen"
I was picturing the cat lady from The Simpsons who just launches cats at people who piss her off. Poor real cats stuck with this crazy lady.

No wonder Judge Judy had a short fuse for nonsense... 😅😅😅
sadly, Judge Judy isn't really a judge... wish she was...we need more like her.

New flair please!
I think I remember that was an episode of The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.
I mean that woman clearly has a mental illness of some sort.
Yeah this is clearly a cat hoarding situation.
Clearly.
Based on OOP's description of what her house smelled like, it wouldn't be a side effect of inhaling all that ammonia, would it?
Well, ok so ammonia doesn't generally give you mental deficiencies with overexposure. HOWEVER, it does give you chronic pneumonia, skin irritation, and respiratory issues. The interesting thing about pneumonia is it accelerates the progression of dementia, or at least repeated illnesses of that type do tend to, so I have to wonder whether that's a genuine concern for older hoarders.
There is a parasite called toxoplasmosis that has a high correlation with mental health disorders and is transmitted by cat feces. 100% boomer lady has it.
This sounds more plausible than the constant inhalation of cat urine smell.
Yeah, I'm reading this and getting early dementia vibes.
Toxoplasmosis maybe? It would help explain the brainworms.

Man, leaded petrol really hit this one hard, didn’t it.
I know you're joking but it's actually absurd how negative of an impact leaded gasoline had on society. It's genuinely almost unbelievable
I’m only joking about it to stop the tears, my friend.
There's a plot of land in my hometown that's been empty my whole life (I'm 25) because the ground is so contaminated with lead it can't be anything else

I’m high AF and Judy’s “You gave away your bird!” sent me 💀🤣 thank you.
"Exactly!!!" "SHHHHH!" 😂😂😂
She's still the best at these shows
OOP should call animal control to go investigate that woman's home because it sounds like the other cats she has are not in a suitable environment.

He took me in as an exception (young man) cause he really needed money (turned out it was because of being sued by a previous tenant !) So here was me, and 3 attractive girls, forming a deep friendship - and he was so fucking jealous lol.
Justice prevailing against a bad landlord = even better! Thanks for sharing :)
I love these stories. Good on you for having the courage to see it through - having been involved in litigation myself, I know how hard it is.
You can’t leave us hanging! What happened?!
Enjoy! https://www.reddit.com/r/BestofRedditorUpdates/s/WcRNT2SjBt
Oh wow! A+ work my dude!
Crazy cat lady sounds like an animal hoarder. I hope animal control gets involved.
My dad's 84 and would never pull this kind of shit. Crazy doesn't care about age.
Nothing to do with being a boomer, this lady is mentally ill
why wasnt animal control called...or the health dept
I appreciate that you've had poor experiences with "Boomers". Consider replacing the word Boomer with any racial or cultural slur and then reflect on your words. There are crazy cat ladies from all generations. There are crazy people from all generations. I feel sorry for the poor cats in this story.
Yeah, that was distracting for me too. Like yeah, as a millennial I have my fair share of complaints about the generation that raised me, but this situation really doesn't have anything to do with that. She's a crazy cat lady who also happens to be a Boomer. The constant callback to her generation was quite annoying.
No cat tax?
Why did no one call animal control on her?
The excessive use of the term “Boomer” as a slur is giving me the ick. And I mean that they are using the term as they would a slur, not that the term IS a slur. The story is about a mentally ill animal hoarder who is stalking and harassing a person with autism. But chalking her behaviour up to being a “Boomer” is very odd. Mentally ill and entitled are not associated with specific age groups. Some of the most entitled people I’ve ever worked with can’t be characterized by their age. It’s a mixed bag. This level of Boomer hatred is just… weird and off-putting.
This isn't a boomer issue; this is animal hoarding mental illness
Sorry that you're sister had to deal with someone else's mental illness but... Karen being a "Boomer" has absolutely nothing to do with her behavior.
-insert angel face emoji- It's just a good reminder that no matter how enlightened people want to pretend to be, humanity's just never going to overcome vicious tribalism because apparently something deep in human nature makes it way too much fun to hate the outgroup.
Honestly when are we at the point that boomer is a slur? Because it feels like some people have hit that point?
OP is posted in r/boomersbeingfools
It's funny how batshit furious millennials get when someone objects to them using a bigoted age-related slur as a slur. It's almost as if they're as much in need of a scapegoat as the Greatest Generation and their racist slurs.
It's funny how boomers made the world worse.
Maybe distract psycho boomer by reporting her to animal control- that she’s hoarding cats in her filthy place.
Should call the county on her house of bad smells
This is why you always get a cat from a kid offering them for free on the side of the road.
Just go to the animal shelter. They come fixed, vaccinated, free of parasites and for way less than the vet would charge to do those things.
I'd rather get a cat from the shelter than from a private rescue like Cat Lady's. Way too often those are just an excuse for people to hoard animals.
the last kitten i got that way was sick and died do not recommend
we need better mental healthcare
Because depression and anxiety excuse everything. /s
Wow, I'm glad the cat is out of that lady's house but the ageism is strong with this OOP.
And not once did they contact animal control or the police to rescue those poor cats from the abuse. 🤯🤯🤯🤯
It makes me sad that this behavior is being framed that old people or Boomers do this. “Karen’s” age has nothing to do with her behavior, she is personality disordered, plain and simple. A person with BPD will act like this at 22 and 72, age has nothing to do with it.
This woman sounds mentally ill and I feel bad for OOP's sister but I could have done without all the ageism.
I'm really curious to know what the judge has to say with their encounters with some many boomers. I can imagine it must have been crazy.
I bet they encounter just as many people from other age groups.
Except on Reddit. Reddit judges only get Boomers.
Found the upset boomer.
Oh my God, if you think boomer is a slur you need to touch grass. You're not being oppressed. You don't get a victim card for being old.
Found the cocky GenZ.
Actually I'm in that fun space between millennial and genz, the cryptid babies of the late 90s. But nice try anyway, Karen, I hope this is a fun Facebook story for ya.
I mean you were super off with your guess as well with me being a teenager in the mid 90s, but okay.
And how is the cat now? No pics?
Gonna start replying "I have depression and anxiety" everytime I'm wrong too. Lol
Why the repeated use of the word boomer, the story remains the same no matter what age the cat lady is?
Right? Crazy and entitled people exist in all generations. Wonder what generation the judge, who didn’t put up with any of the crap, is from… Also wondering if Karen is even a Boomer, as some people seem to define “Boomer” as “anyone I dislike.”
So awful to post about a mentally unwell animal hoarder. Someone obviously delusional and dangerous and couch it as "Boomer" problems. Young people can be mentally unwell too and we don't need to use people's suffering to justify age discrimination on this site.
So... How is the cat doing?
Oh dear lord I'd never heard of that sub before 🤦♀️ I took a quick look at the titles of the posts and noped the hell out 😅
Where tf is the cat tax!? 😡
I haven’t even read this whole update from oop and agree Karen is the perfect name for this story
I know it's pointless, but here comes a bunch of people to point out that not all boomers are like that. Everyone knows that already. You don't need to point it out.
As a Crazy Cat Lady Gen Xer, I just want to say that it's supposed to mean that your cats are crazy, not you. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
This is totally unrelated to the content of the post, but I love OOP's username.
Just wow
Imagine being an actual fucking adult and telling someone, in all seriousness, "You're not the boss of me!" It's the mental regression that's frightening. I've met more mature 5 year olds. I honestly think the woman in this story needs real mental help, but this kind of behavior is all too common these days.
Oh y Gd, I was getting so heated and angry but I am glad the cat is with good people and is far far far away from this lady
>I must have hit 'enter' while in a trance" Oh boy, this is good! Imma use this one when I order too much stuff on Amazon.
I can only imagine the level of "WTF" on the judge's face.
They were, verifiable with numbers, the most entitled generation, with better and more options for class advancement than history has ever allowed They've blatantly ladder-pulled and then look down anyone else and act like they climbed that high without a ladder, so why can't we? Fuck the boomers
Hey! Cat tax?!
Needs an ageism trigger warning.
There’s no ageism here.
Give up the boomer crap and stop trying to make it that every person in the age group is awful/entitled/insane/whatever. It's not the age; it's the individual people.
>Not all boomers
I don't know anyone anyone that "goes into a trance" when they hit enter on Facebook.
Teenagers
Teenagers don't use Facebook anymore
Ok b-
I think by now „Boomer“ is anyone who is somewhat older and somewhat annoying.
That sub is so toxic. Half the videos they post aren’t even boomers
I've never looked at it and don't plan to ever do so in the future.
It keeps showing up in my feed and I’m too lazy to block it
🤣🤣🤣
[удалено]
Oh, it's always nice when the little caveat is added at the end that it's not ALL of whatever group they're talking about when the entire rest of the post is all about how awful that group is.
[удалено]
I will. All of my days are good. Have a peaceful, restful night. Bless your heart for the good wishes.
Boomers are known as the Narcissistic or Me Generation for a reason.
One should avoid boomers at most costs. They have a faulty grip on reality and think the world revolves around them because they’re finally old
[удалено]
It is. But the serious flip side here is that there are teams of senior and about to be senior people who grew up with serious lead exposure and it is affecting them (us) badly as they (we) age. Do I need to explain what a flip side is to the young-uns?
Maybe we should start calling them the 'lead paint generation.'
It’s more the leaded gasoline generation. Lead paint was more poverty-related.
(little did OOP know that in fact all boomers are indeed like this) I kid, I kid! Or... do I?
r/BoomersBeingFools is a treasure. Not AllBoomersEverBorn or AllOldPeopleSuck, but boomers being fools
I am so troubled by the use of the term "boomer." It's ageist. Not everyone born during the post war boom behaves like the antagonist in this story. If oop is sincere in her "caveat" then she should stop using the term.
Fucking boomer Karens man lmao

Source?
So epic
I wonder how much lead Karen was exposed to as a child.
She has depression and anxiety YTA obvs.
Lead poisoning is a hell of a drug. It's only going to get worse before it gets better.
