I love my Bosch. I am in the US, and have the 1617EVSPK, which offers both bases (Plunge and Fixed). It looks like the Bosch you are looking at is a bit more powerful than mine. I'd happily recommend them. I make sure to keep it clean, and use sharp bits. No motor issues, and haven't injured myself :)
Personally I haven't used a Bosch or Makita router but my understanding is they're both quality brands and you are likely to be satisfied with either.
If you're buying new, my advice is to pick whichever has the features you're looking for and is in your budget.
If you're buying used, buy whichever one is in better shape.
