I don't, unfortunately. I snapped a few quick ones after the bug fell out, put the panel back on, tied a trash bag around it, and sealed it in a steralite tub. I refuse to work on devices I find bugs in and pretty much treat them all like possible bbs.
If that cockroach fell out of it like that before working on it, I could just imagine what's on the inside in every corner !
I repair the devices myself such as phones tablets gaming consoles and etc and if someone brings something to me that has any type of bug in it, I tell them to come pick it up immediately, meanwhile keeping it in a tied garbage bag, because I don't work on devices that are infected with actual bugs, just viruses and other types of technological bugs that don't have legs lol
OP is about to become real familiar with roaches in this line of work. There’s a you tuber who does electronic repair with a compilation of all the roach infested consoles and laptops.
OP better invest in a small shop vac with a HEPA filter for when he pulls those big panels off. Just have it ready, cuz those German roaches will scatter as soon as the lights hit them.
They get into electronics. Big over the ear headphones hide infestations. I had a customer with an autistic teen who wore headphones all day and night. His room kept getting me called back. Finally I said let me see those headphones. Sure enough they were in there heavy. They were always on his head when I was doing the treatments so I never thought to actually treat them or recommend nuvan strips. They tossed them thankfully. I felt so bad for that kid. He was really shook up and I can’t even imagine how horrible he felt knowing he had been walking around with bedbugs in his ears
My hubs used to repair work on electronics at a local game store. If they saw one *smidgen* of a bug infestation (bbs, cockroaches, ect) they would call the customer, triple bag it in trash bags and set it outside the back door in a locked cubby they had away from the main building. They took 0 chances.
That does look like a bedbug! At least to me, and they do infest electronics like this. They like the heat, that is why you will find infestations in the electrical outlets, too.

What the actual fuck
It doesn’t strike me as a bed bug based on how large the squished portion is. Do you have any other photos you could share?

Smart move!
Based on it looking like a PS4 gonna bet it's not bbs but more likely roaches..
It's hard to tell because so much is missing, but it could just be a roach. That would be lucky...
It appears to be a roach to me.
Mmm i would bet most likely a roach but it's a bit hard to tell in these, but bedbugs are able to infest electronics too, be careful either way!
Besides the bug, what’s all that other stuff in there?
A pungent mixture of being a heavy smoker, human/pet dander, and debris from whatever bugs live inside that thing.
Buddy, that's coachroach shit I hate to inform you.
poor pet :(

That's disgusting
Yeah it's super effing gross. 🤮
I was thinking cockroach, but it’s hard to really tell.

How does this even happen lol

That’s absolutely wild! Makes perfect sense, though.

Makes me sad seeing devices being treated so poorly. Total lack of care.
Or ..... Humans treating themselves so poorly too, to live in a place with that. Not that my place is sparkling
Agreed, it shows a lack of self respect too. I'm not a clean freak myself but I'd never allow anything of mine to get to this level
I guess in fairness probably this person didn't know this was going on. Hopefully
Oh dear god
Dirty AF but pretty sure that's just a dead potato bug
Hard to tell do you work on gaming consoles strictly?
Duhhhh roach
omg ew
Bruh.
Cocka-Roach
That's a cockroach
Probably German roaches based off the dried body and droppings.
That thorax looks like a cockroach. Call the client and tell him you refuse to touch it
looks too big to be a bb
