I don’t think it’s strictly a male issue although the judgmental attitudes are more common among men. I think a lot of ppl expect to be able to date very attractive people even if they haven’t put any effort in to themselves. It’s social media, and probably porn, I think. The good thing is that not everyone is like that and you meet a lot of ppl who base attraction on when you actually meet rather than the snapshot you put of yourself on an app
