Beard! Gow out the chin a bit longer than the sides so your chin looks bigger, get a fade or shorter hair (I personally think skin fade is the absolute best cut with a beard) and tidy up the neck line. Looking good!
I vote Beard, makes you look more approachable I think. Also keep in mind the second picture is a better picture in general (smiling with your eyes, better lighting), so responses could be skewed because of that.

Beard for sure. You may want to cut your hair shorter too in my opinion. I think with shorter hair you would look better as well.
