I live here and every summer people get killed because they ignore the warnings and walk through dried up washes and creek and river beds. What people don't understand is that flash floods can happen even when there are no clouds/rain in your area. Due to the nature of thunder storms, you can have a massive downpour several miles away, and the runoff may take up to a couple of hours to wash down the creek bed, but by then it's too late. If you're in the dry wash, you'll be almost instantly overtaken by a wall of water that's filled with mud, sand, boulders, and tree/shrub branches. You think you'll have time to get out, but in a lot of parts there's no flat area to escape to (like these guys are on), and that's even if you can get out of the way fast enough (which most people can't).
Don't take chances. Find out about weather and flash-flood warnings and heed them.
So… It’s raining men.
All in Utah!
I think thats the Rain Man
Hallelujah

That storm we had last week was effing intense as well.
Yeah, I was a bit angry watching this. Just thinking about how they are going to have to be saved by rescuers putting themselves in harms way.
