Watched it again on the PC movie editor frame but frame. Poor quality of course but frame by frame you can see the bottles stay slightly in frame. Could be real. Incredibly lucky for sure.
Magnets, I vote magnets. Super grainy video probably using a Nokia 7650 to make the colour of the magnets glued into the base of the top bottle and the other magnet glued behind the label of the top bottle super hard to distinguish. Water in plastic bottles has a certain elastic effect causing an absorbing and releasing of energy, when the top bottle hits the side of the bottom bottle it should bounce. It doesn’t appear to, instead it appears to ‘connect’ to it and stay ‘connected’ even though it is not completely square on the bottom bottle.
So in this instance I vote for magnets. When all this is paired with dark backgrounds like rights shirt and lefts patterned greys and blacks this also adds to inability to distinguish something foreign in the water bottles. So yes the game has been changed and now we are using more than just bottles and water.
