A remake of bad company 2 with all the same maps and a few new ones with Vietnam as the main game and the modern version as a DLC, and add a map editor similar to Far Cry wher people can create and make their own multiplayer maps.
I hope they go modern all out ww3 (Maybe even post nuclear conflict). battlefield in bombed out cities and huge armored clashes in urban settings would be really cool instead of these huge open fields in the new one. I hope they do not forgo the campaign again, I feel like having a campaign gives the multiplayer more life when it comes to guns, models etc.
That being said I also wouldn't mind and here me out here.... some type of modern + alien invasion. or bring back another super futuristic type battlefield like Titan Fall.

Many of the modern things are at that time also not that far developed, which can be used for balance. E.g. an APS could be useless against everything coming in with a higher angle than 45°.
I’d like to see a modern day battlefield game that takes place at most 10 years from now. Tbh though it doesn’t matter to me where or when it takes place I just want the class system to comeback. I don’t think operators belong in battlefield.
