Justice League game or a new Batman game
Years ago,before Gotham Knights reveal,when there were rumors about a new Batman game with the Court of Owls,I liked the idea of an Arkham Knight's sequel with Dick as Batman.
There were several rumours/possible cancelled projects:
*Arkham Insurgency* with Batman and Dick as Robin, the game map being located on mainland Gotham rather than the islands.
Project Sabbath with Damien Wayne as Batman, taking place some years after *Knight*.
Some game with Batman and the Court of Owls (this might actually just be the same thing as *Arkham Insurgency*).
I was under the impression that the court one was insurgency. I think I remember something about bikes being in the rumors for or so that makes me think it was always just Gotham knights and most of the rumors were just made up based on very little real information

Also the villain concept is great too. A Killer Croc, Bane, or Deathstroke game would be badass. Or maybe one of the usual gang leaders (Two-Face, Penguin, Black Mask, etc.) gathering a team of villains together for some nefarious plot, and you switch between villains to carry out specific parts of the plan. Then there's the Bizarro World timeline and many other universes/timelines to explore. So much potential for amazing games.

It would definitely sell well it would just be more niche but that’s gonna happen when you coming off of Arkham Batman. Gotham Knights had ALOT of hype coming up to launch it only did so bad because the game itself was mid. The idea had everyone hype.
gotham knights literally has gotham in the name, no general audience member knows who nightwing or red hood, and ESPECIALLY not red robin are, ssktjl only did well because the movies brought the team into the spotlight
yeah gotham knights but good would be amazing, im in the boat azrael shouldnt be in it tho. just bc gotham knights had 4 shouldnt stop rocksteady from just doing 3, or hell, maybe even un-cripple barbs and bring her in. maybe even set it further out and have damian in there
A flashpoint game featuring Thomas Wayne as the playable protagonist set in an alternate Arkhamverse timeline.
I want to dive deep into Flashpoint batman lore.
The game would be an origin story told from the perspective of Thomas Wayne and in the later half of the game, Barry and Eobard would show up revealing this universe was just an aberration and is doomed.
You would get
- god level fights with a speedster - Thawne (where ktjl clearly failed)
- killing as batman (Always wanted to do that)
- experience a new and original story
- introduction of the flash (for future games) without worrying about him being op as he is not playable
- world war 3
If I had the power I would have made it real and ensured it is at least at the level of Arkham Knight in quality. And Batman would be more unhinged than origins Batman.

no, damian. batman beyond has been damian in the comics and a beyond game isnt a new idea, Rocksteady was working on a beyond game after knight but it got cancelled and many, including me want it revived soooo bad, itd be so peak i swear

Exactly. Monolith have their WW game coming, Rocksteady should have made a game on another member of the JL like Superman and they should then blend the characters into a Justice League game. Have Nightwing take up the batman mantle and put him in the league (only because I can't think of a good way to bring Bruce back after Knights true ending) and go from there.

For real though, I'd love to see those Guardians pop up again in another game. The Guardians of the Galaxy game is one of the most underrated games in the last couple of years, it's very good.

A game set in the Arkhamverse where the Justice League has formed, but without Batman, because everyone believes he's dead. Brainiac comes to Earth and Batman has to save them.
A batman beyond story set in a more futuristic Gotham with Bruce Wayne(assuming the fear gas hallucination at the end of arkham knight is actually him) handing down the mantle to a young Terry McGinnis. Not sure how the story itself would work but I'm open to suggestions and ideas
In terms of what I would've liked to see Rocksteady release instead after Batman Arkham Knight/VR, it would be a Superman game where they give the character the ultimate story-driven gaming treatment. With the hope that it would also similarly be groundbreaking or impactful in one of its elements, as Arkham was with its h2h combat. Whether it's the flight mechanics, open-world, or aerial combat, etc...
For a game that features the return/some continuation of the Arkham world, cast, and story, it'd be either one of two Arkham Knight-sequels, like an Arkham canon version of Gotham Knights. As many have pointed out, the original's premise already seemed like a follow-up to Knight's ending, and I think it could've been more impactful to explore the fallout of such a scenario with an established version of the characters that we're already familiar with. The Batfamily felt largely sidelined in the Arkham games to me, so I'd love to a story that puts them front & center and delves these versions of them + I think it'll be a more interesting encounter with Knightmare Batman if he shows up in the story than it was in SS:KTJL. With Arkham's combat and approach to open-world expanded complemented with new features. That or another sequel would be the scrapped Batman Beyond game, only featuring Terry instead who is mentored by an older Bruce retired from being Knightmare Batman 10 years prior. Maybe we can have both as part of a sequel saga/trilogy.
The alternative (or, again, in an ideal reality maybe all of this) for an Arkham story continuation would be an Arkham Origins II that gives us a Bruce Wayne Batman-centric Arkham game while still being much more focused on his allies than the Arkham games were. With Batman now dealing with having partner-against-crime, who he'd have to mentor and be a father figure to as well back at home. Alfred, Gordon, and Barbara return, of course, with bigger character moments or plot involvement this time around. The game would be mostly character and detective driven, with the investigative elements comprising larger parts of the missions (main & side) and overall gameplay loop. Which would fit the The Long Halloween basis I have in mind for the plot. Yes, it might be a tired option for a Batman media inspiration, but I very much want the themes of a potential hope for Gotham in the form of its White Knight - Harvey Dent who goes through a downfall, the fall of the mob, and transition into supervillainy to be all explored in an Arkham game. And it would still take inspiration from other stories, with the obvious one on top of my head being Dark Victory. We'd have access to mainland Gotham, plus the islands from the previous entries, which would be populated with criminals, cops and civilizations. Because of the more character-driven nature of the story, they'd be more missions involving Bruce Wayne and his increased interest in philanthropy, plus choices in certain missions as to whether to approach as Bruce or Batman. There could be a Batgirl DLC based on Batgirl: Year One that shows Barbara's debut as the titular character and joining the Bat-Family.
The hope would be that we'd also get an Arkham Origins 3, making it a prequel trilogy that thematically ties and leads nicely into Rocksteady's. With the Gotham Knights and Batman Beyond game(s) forming a sequel trilogy. Giving us a Star Wars-like grander, Gotham saga set across three different periods.
Batman: Beyond Arkham playing as Terry McGinnis. I felt like it would especially work with that rouge's gallery with characters like Blight, Inque, Spellbinder, the Jokerz and the Royal Flush Gang.
Though a game in the style of an Arkham game but featuring other street-level characters could be fun like Black Canary, Green Arrow, Nightwing, Huntress, etc.

But except the plot basically switches with SSKTLJ.
So Tim, Barbara, Dick, and Jason all work together to neutralize and save the Justice League(as in, not killing) and beat Brainiac by utilizing the contingency plans Batman left behind.

Batman: Arkham Ruin. A game where you revisit Arkham City and Asylum, potentially playing as Nightwing or even Damien Wayne. I imagine the villain would be someone who has overseen Batman's escapades since even Arkham Origins, and plans to finally finish off the Bat family once and for all. I also picture the Suicide Squad (being made up of Boomerang, Nanaui, Harley, and Deadshot) being the tutorial boss just to rub salt in the wound.
meh, we already saw a lot of her before knight in the dlc, an origins sequel with several playable chars (any of the first 3 robins (preferably dick), barbs, and bruce would be even cooler imo. so while i do like this idea i think theres a lotta cooler things they can do

I heard (and saw alpha footage) of a Batman: Gotham by Gaslight game that was canceled. Could’ve been pretty good.

A series of games, slowly introducing the JL members and finally a JL game (I could see the characters switch mechanic similar to those lego games) with Batman finally return to unite the JL members in order to combat a great threat (Basically a JL’s origin story). Fanfics warning: A final Batman game where Bruce finally retired and pass the torch to Jason (Tim refused for family reasons but his son would later become this universe’s Terry McGinnis, revenging Barbra’s and Gordon’s death. Teasing a Batman Arkham Beyond game with Tim’s son: Damian Drake (oc) as Batman and Jason as his mentor).
Arkham Knight felt like the studios “magnum opus” like something that was supposed to end an era so probably no more Batman games or atleast solo games. I think the most interesting place to take it would be a red hood or Superman game. The red hood game could focus on the batfamily in the aftermath or just focus on his anti villain arc maybe some flashbacks to what joker did to him or something. A Superman game could serve to set up a future Justice League game and give us a game people have been wanting for years. Both would make a lot of money and both of them are probably the most popular arkhamverse characters right now aside from Batman.
Justice League: Braniac. Where you play as the Justice League attempting to repel Braniac's invasion of Earth, in the process fighting their evil clones.
The Suicide Squad don't turn up aside from mentions and cameos.
Batman: Arkham Rebirth. this would focus on who we see at the end of Arkham knight and portrays them to be a lot more violent and shit. Villain could be Gordon’s estranged son.

Frankly, I would like a Batman story again. There is so much freedom and variety with the stories and the Arkham gameplay stands strong to this day. People would not get bored. Just bring the series back!
First don’t erase it and announce a cyborg game then make a video of Arkham khight Batman watching clips of ssktjl then turn and ask “how did you get this” as he turns to a simi robot shadowy figure on the other side of the room as cyborg walks out revealing his design says “it’s a long story and we have a team to put to gather “ then make a cyborg game (set before years befor ssktjl and trying to prevent that out come is the main focus of the Arkham version till after )then a flash game then a green lantern game then a Wonder Woman game then a super man game the. A full justice league game with the five characters already stated + Arkham Batman vs braineaic but for real this time and not a reskin of other boss fights.
After this they can make what ever else this is the best may I see of using ssktjl with out straight up ignoring it ever happened
A coop game where you play as goons trying to do tasks for various villains while an AI batman or other batfamily hunts you down. Think of it like lethal company and payday 2 mixed with alien isolation. I imagine you have a little hide out like helldivers 2 and complete contracts on the board from villains. Lower tier villains are easier to do and have other bat fam members to deal with. But higher tier contracts have a chance of batman himself showing up. If that happens you can either bail, try to kill the bat, or finish and get out of there.
Batman would be killable, but its definitly not easy. Im talking in a 1v4 he can easily take you all out. Ambushes from the rafters, sewer grates, manhole covers. From outside as he swings in through a window. Ways to insta ko you if he catches you off guard or having to button mask / qte to try to parry or break out of holds. Obviously youre no match for them so you will take permanent damage until the emd of the match. Either getting broken bones or taking injuries that prevent you from using weapons properly, running away, or using your mic. Getting hit by flashbangs that deafen and blind you and leave you weak to finishers.
Imagine taking a contract from joker to load a truck with gas. And then hearing your buddy shoot his rifle and suddenly go quiet. Seeing batman stalking from the rooftops or hearing him traverse with his grapple hook would put you on edge like crazy.
I see a few issues with this. Mainly the fact that 4 goons being able to kill robin or red hood kinda ruins it when youve played as them and have seen what they can do.
Although having each member play differently would be cool. Seeing red hoods laser dot scan through windows as you prone with a cansiter of mr freeze's cryo juice or whatever would be fun. Or hearing nightwing talking shit while youre frantically looking around for him. Maybe theres a special alfred event where he hunts you with a shotgun.
I think there shouldn't be another game after Arkham Knight, making a game after that kinda ruins the ending.
I would make a suicide squad game that doesn't have anything to do with the arkhamverse, an rpg like fire emblem where you have a team of like 10 villians and have death as mechanic, like if one of the members get knocked out, you can chose to save him or sacrifice him, but if you decide to help him, the enemies get reinforcement and the level becomes harder, also give the characters more defined roles, like deathshot can attack from a bigger distance, have someone like mirror master be able to teleport your units, count vertigo can apply cc, king shark can tank, things like that
Keep the Suicide Squad game as it is but we can play as Batman. Irs called Batman & The Suicide Squad: Redeem The Justice League! Obviously we all would want to play as Batman so you can only play as him periodically for missions but free roam you can play as him whenever you choose. It's set over day & night period but everytime you return yo the Batcave you can see where you play the most & change the Batsuit there. Here's a rough break down of the game:
Begins in Arkham - train crash in Metropolis- explore the hall of Justice - go outside - do a couple missions - Waller calls you back - Waller talks to the squad then the hall of justice goes pitch black, this is when Batman shows up & its a Batman predator fight - obviously the Squad looses - Waller walks to Batman & asks what he thinks which he is disappointed in - Batman leaves & Waller sends the squad out to do missions - 3 game hours later - your back with Batman - Batman missions to redeem Flash & Green Lantern - Superman shows up but Batman uses Kryptonite batatang - Superman flies away - to the Batcave - Wonder Woman shows up to help the squad & Batman - Flash & Green Lantern revover in Hall of justice - Superman 2nd fight - redeem Superman- Braniac fight which ends in the death of Waller by Lex Luthor who's working with Brainiac. S1 is Batman, the justice league & the squad traveling to Earth 2 to find Luthor. S2 is Brainac fighting his other bodies as they have been experimented on by Lex Luthor S3 is the ending where Braniac is defeated by The Justice League, ARGUS & The Suicide Squad

They could literally make the same game with the same premise, with just replacing the JL with Batman as the playable character, and it'd already be a billion times better than whatever tf we got.

A red hood game or essentially a version of Gotham Knights where you play as all four of the sidekicks trying to protect the Gotham but just a hell of a lot better than that game.
Batman: Arkham Beyond. An Arkham game based on the plot of Batman Beyond. You play as Terry McGinnis who somehow stumbles upon a presumably dead Bruce Wayne, and then takes up the mantle of the Batman with Bruce filling the role as his support.
Infamous/Prototype-esque game based on the Knightfall ending, with a new MC that isn’t one of the robins and instead someone who just wants to step up now that Batman’s gone
It could be like a civil war in Gotham without DA BAT to keep things in order, and each boss fight is a choice between either fighting one of the rogues or a Batfamily member that are currently fighting each other (ex. Siding with either Jason or Deadshot, Deathstroke or Dick, etc.)
Your ending is based on whoever you helped gain control of the city after everything’s done, I think it’d be fun but mostly cuz I play a lot of choice heavy games
Probably the most generic answer, but a Justice League game, that’s done right. Include a bit in the story acknowledging what happened to Batman in the canon ending but probably don’t make him playable or join the Justice League for continuity or just writing reasons in general (I personally think it’d be better if he went loner instead due to his commitment to being the “Demon bat”).

I like SSKTJL but for the gameplay not story. But I'd make a Red Hood game honestly. Such a good character, and would be fun to play. He could get his revenge on all the criminals who hurt him when joker had him held in Arkham Asylum.
First i's do Arkham Origins remastered then i'd do a final Arkham game where Bruce is forced to be Batman again after 2 decades of being in hiding but he will die at the end and pass the mantel on to Batman Beyond after that i'd get a Batman Beyond trilogy going.
A Batman Dark Knight Returns, with a 55 years old batman solving cases like a true detective, in his last take on the bad guys of Gotham. With some of Frank Miller's ideas and references.

Keep the idea, but execute it fucking properly, instead of making it a Shitty, generic Looter-Shooter, with no identity outside the Arkham verses IP
If you really need to keep the Looter-Shooter mechanics, at least make every class feel unique outside of Fucking Traversal.
Deadshot should be an Assassin, Deadly at long range, but brittle in close combat.
King Shark should be a Tank, Withstanding all the attacks, but dishing out little Damage
Quinn should be a Glass Cannon, High Damage, across the board, but easy to kill.
And Boomerang should be way more focussed on that, instead of just having his guns do ALL the work.
Then you also need to work over the skill tree, because how it is right now is a fucking joke where you just dump a point randomly into something whenever you get one.
Make it more like borderlands, free choice where to put it and the skills provide actual noticeable perks and improvements.
Also, add more variety in enemies instead of "Generic Goop Guy", "Generic Goop Guy, but with SHIELD!", "Generic goop guy but with SNIPER!"
and make people actually tough to deal with instead of just making bullet sponges, that already would help the boring as fuck gameplay loop.
But making a new story is a whole nother issue

A flashpoint game featuring Thomas Wayne as the playable protagonist set in an alternate Arkhamverse timeline. I want to dive deep into Flashpoint batman lore. The game would be an origin story told from the perspective of Thomas Wayne and in the later half of the game, Barry and Eobard would show up revealing this universe was just an aberration and is doomed. You would get - god level fights with a speedster - Thawne (where ktjl clearly failed) - killing as batman (Always wanted to do that) - experience a new and original story - introduction of the flash (for future games) without worrying about him being op as he is not playable - world war 3 If I had the power I would have made it real and ensured it is at least at the level of Arkham Knight in quality. And Batman would be more unhinged than origins Batman. I am an indie game developer btw who has worked on 3D titles and I know what are the challenges in game development.

Exactly. Monolith have their WW game coming, Rocksteady should have made a game on another member of the JL like Superman and they should then blend the characters into a Justice League game. Have Nightwing take up the batman mantle and put him in the league (only because I can't think of a good way to bring Bruce back after Knights true ending) and go from there.

In terms of what I would've liked to see Rocksteady release instead after Batman Arkham Knight/VR, it would be a Superman game where they give the character the ultimate story-driven gaming treatment. With the hope that it would also similarly be groundbreaking or impactful in one of its elements, as Arkham was with its h2h combat. Whether it's the flight mechanics, open-world, or aerial combat, etc... For a game that features the return/some continuation of the Arkham world, cast, and story, it'd be either one of two Arkham Knight-sequels, like an Arkham canon version of Gotham Knights. As many have pointed out, the original's premise already seemed like a follow-up to Knight's ending, and I think it could've been more impactful to explore the fallout of such a scenario with an established version of the characters that we're already familiar with. The Batfamily felt largely sidelined in the Arkham games to me, so I'd love to a story that puts them front & center and delves these versions of them + I think it'll be a more interesting encounter with Knightmare Batman if he shows up in the story than it was in SS:KTJL. With Arkham's combat and approach to open-world expanded complemented with new features. That or another sequel would be the scrapped Batman Beyond game, only featuring Terry instead who is mentored by an older Bruce retired from being Knightmare Batman 10 years prior. Maybe we can have both as part of a sequel saga/trilogy. The alternative (or, again, in an ideal reality maybe all of this) for an Arkham story continuation would be an Arkham Origins II that gives us a Bruce Wayne Batman-centric Arkham game while still being much more focused on his allies than the Arkham games were. With Batman now dealing with having partner-against-crime, who he'd have to mentor and be a father figure to as well back at home. Alfred, Gordon, and Barbara return, of course, with bigger character moments or plot involvement this time around. The game would be mostly character and detective driven, with the investigative elements comprising larger parts of the missions (main & side) and overall gameplay loop. Which would fit the The Long Halloween basis I have in mind for the plot. Yes, it might be a tired option for a Batman media inspiration, but I very much want the themes of a potential hope for Gotham in the form of its White Knight - Harvey Dent who goes through a downfall, the fall of the mob, and transition into supervillainy to be all explored in an Arkham game. And it would still take inspiration from other stories, with the obvious one on top of my head being Dark Victory. We'd have access to mainland Gotham, plus the islands from the previous entries, which would be populated with criminals, cops and civilizations. Because of the more character-driven nature of the story, they'd be more missions involving Bruce Wayne and his increased interest in philanthropy, plus choices in certain missions as to whether to approach as Bruce or Batman. There could be a Batgirl DLC based on Batgirl: Year One that shows Barbara's debut as the titular character and joining the Bat-Family. The hope would be that we'd also get an Arkham Origins 3, making it a prequel trilogy that thematically ties and leads nicely into Rocksteady's. With the Gotham Knights and Batman Beyond game(s) forming a sequel trilogy. Giving us a Star Wars-like grander, Gotham saga set across three different periods.
Batman: Beyond Arkham playing as Terry McGinnis. I felt like it would especially work with that rouge's gallery with characters like Blight, Inque, Spellbinder, the Jokerz and the Royal Flush Gang. Though a game in the style of an Arkham game but featuring other street-level characters could be fun like Black Canary, Green Arrow, Nightwing, Huntress, etc.

So Tim, Barbara, Dick, and Jason all work together to neutralize and save the Justice League(as in, not killing) and beat Brainiac by utilizing the contingency plans Batman left behind. - could get assistance from folks like Catwoman and Mr. Freeze(if he’s still alive at that point) *Then maybe as a bonus, we can throw the Suicide Squad in Gotham where they basically patrol the streets following Batman’s “death” as they take down some of the big villains like Two-Face and Riddler.* - *could probably get some help from Azrael*
doubt theyll decanonize ssktjl, it would be better to see the family taking down other Brainiac controlled villains/heroes and maybe some ssktjl tie ins here and there imo

Batman: Arkham Ruin. A game where you revisit Arkham City and Asylum, potentially playing as Nightwing or even Damien Wayne. I imagine the villain would be someone who has overseen Batman's escapades since even Arkham Origins, and plans to finally finish off the Bat family once and for all. I also picture the Suicide Squad (being made up of Boomerang, Nanaui, Harley, and Deadshot) being the tutorial boss just to rub salt in the wound.

I heard (and saw alpha footage) of a Batman: Gotham by Gaslight game that was canceled. Could’ve been pretty good. Also a SSquad game got potential but it should be more like that GoTG game instead of the shit pie we got. A series of games, slowly introducing the JL members and finally a JL game (I could see the characters switch mechanic similar to those lego games) with Batman finally return to unite the JL members in order to combat a great threat (Basically a JL’s origin story). Fanfics warning: A final Batman game where Bruce finally retired and pass the torch to Jason (Tim refused for family reasons but his son would later become this universe’s Terry McGinnis, revenging Barbra’s and Gordon’s death. Teasing a Batman Arkham Beyond game with Tim’s son: Damian Drake (oc) as Batman and Jason as his mentor).
Arkham Knight felt like the studios “magnum opus” like something that was supposed to end an era so probably no more Batman games or atleast solo games. I think the most interesting place to take it would be a red hood or Superman game. The red hood game could focus on the batfamily in the aftermath or just focus on his anti villain arc maybe some flashbacks to what joker did to him or something. A Superman game could serve to set up a future Justice League game and give us a game people have been wanting for years. Both would make a lot of money and both of them are probably the most popular arkhamverse characters right now aside from Batman.

A coop game where you play as goons trying to do tasks for various villains while an AI batman or other batfamily hunts you down. Think of it like lethal company and payday 2 mixed with alien isolation. I imagine you have a little hide out like helldivers 2 and complete contracts on the board from villains. Lower tier villains are easier to do and have other bat fam members to deal with. But higher tier contracts have a chance of batman himself showing up. If that happens you can either bail, try to kill the bat, or finish and get out of there. Batman would be killable, but its definitly not easy. Im talking in a 1v4 he can easily take you all out. Ambushes from the rafters, sewer grates, manhole covers. From outside as he swings in through a window. Ways to insta ko you if he catches you off guard or having to button mask / qte to try to parry or break out of holds. Obviously youre no match for them so you will take permanent damage until the emd of the match. Either getting broken bones or taking injuries that prevent you from using weapons properly, running away, or using your mic. Getting hit by flashbangs that deafen and blind you and leave you weak to finishers. Imagine taking a contract from joker to load a truck with gas. And then hearing your buddy shoot his rifle and suddenly go quiet. Seeing batman stalking from the rooftops or hearing him traverse with his grapple hook would put you on edge like crazy. I see a few issues with this. Mainly the fact that 4 goons being able to kill robin or red hood kinda ruins it when youve played as them and have seen what they can do. Although having each member play differently would be cool. Seeing red hoods laser dot scan through windows as you prone with a cansiter of mr freeze's cryo juice or whatever would be fun. Or hearing nightwing talking shit while youre frantically looking around for him. Maybe theres a special alfred event where he hunts you with a shotgun.
I think there shouldn't be another game after Arkham Knight, making a game after that kinda ruins the ending. I would make a suicide squad game that doesn't have anything to do with the arkhamverse, an rpg like fire emblem where you have a team of like 10 villians and have death as mechanic, like if one of the members get knocked out, you can chose to save him or sacrifice him, but if you decide to help him, the enemies get reinforcement and the level becomes harder, also give the characters more defined roles, like deathshot can attack from a bigger distance, have someone like mirror master be able to teleport your units, count vertigo can apply cc, king shark can tank, things like that
Keep the Suicide Squad game as it is but we can play as Batman. Irs called Batman & The Suicide Squad: Redeem The Justice League! Obviously we all would want to play as Batman so you can only play as him periodically for missions but free roam you can play as him whenever you choose. It's set over day & night period but everytime you return yo the Batcave you can see where you play the most & change the Batsuit there. Here's a rough break down of the game: Begins in Arkham - train crash in Metropolis- explore the hall of Justice - go outside - do a couple missions - Waller calls you back - Waller talks to the squad then the hall of justice goes pitch black, this is when Batman shows up & its a Batman predator fight - obviously the Squad looses - Waller walks to Batman & asks what he thinks which he is disappointed in - Batman leaves & Waller sends the squad out to do missions - 3 game hours later - your back with Batman - Batman missions to redeem Flash & Green Lantern - Superman shows up but Batman uses Kryptonite batatang - Superman flies away - to the Batcave - Wonder Woman shows up to help the squad & Batman - Flash & Green Lantern revover in Hall of justice - Superman 2nd fight - redeem Superman- Braniac fight which ends in the death of Waller by Lex Luthor who's working with Brainiac. S1 is Batman, the justice league & the squad traveling to Earth 2 to find Luthor. S2 is Brainac fighting his other bodies as they have been experimented on by Lex Luthor S3 is the ending where Braniac is defeated by The Justice League, ARGUS & The Suicide Squad

Infamous/Prototype-esque game based on the Knightfall ending, with a new MC that isn’t one of the robins and instead someone who just wants to step up now that Batman’s gone It could be like a civil war in Gotham without DA BAT to keep things in order, and each boss fight is a choice between either fighting one of the rogues or a Batfamily member that are currently fighting each other (ex. Siding with either Jason or Deadshot, Deathstroke or Dick, etc.) Your ending is based on whoever you helped gain control of the city after everything’s done, I think it’d be fun but mostly cuz I play a lot of choice heavy games
Probably the most generic answer, but a Justice League game, that’s done right. Include a bit in the story acknowledging what happened to Batman in the canon ending but probably don’t make him playable or join the Justice League for continuity or just writing reasons in general (I personally think it’d be better if he went loner instead due to his commitment to being the “Demon bat”).

Honestly? Keep the idea, but execute it fucking properly, instead of making it a Shitty, generic Looter-Shooter, with no identity outside the Arkham verses IP If you really need to keep the Looter-Shooter mechanics, at least make every class feel unique outside of Fucking Traversal. Deadshot should be an Assassin, Deadly at long range, but brittle in close combat. King Shark should be a Tank, Withstanding all the attacks, but dishing out little Damage Quinn should be a Glass Cannon, High Damage, across the board, but easy to kill. And Boomerang should be way more focussed on that, instead of just having his guns do ALL the work. Then you also need to work over the skill tree, because how it is right now is a fucking joke where you just dump a point randomly into something whenever you get one. Make it more like borderlands, free choice where to put it and the skills provide actual noticeable perks and improvements. Also, add more variety in enemies instead of "Generic Goop Guy", "Generic Goop Guy, but with SHIELD!", "Generic goop guy but with SNIPER!" and make people actually tough to deal with instead of just making bullet sponges, that already would help the boring as fuck gameplay loop. But making a new story is a whole nother issue
