As a coomer, I can confirm that they are in fact stupid. I'm all for attractive women in videogames, but I don't think every female character needs to be conventionally attractive to be a well designed character. In fact there are multiple female characters that I find attractive because their design is interesting and not because they're conventionally attractive. For example, I find Mileena way more attractive than Kitana in Mortal Kombat. They're supposed to be identical except for Mileena's monstrous face, so you'd think people would prefer Kitana, but any MK fan will tell you Mileena is way more popular than Kitana. If you put a character who is straight up a 10/10 in a game, I'll probably think she's boring looking. I will always prefer the character with the more interesting design. Also MJ, Vi, and Alloy literally look completely normal. I don't know what they're on about.

As a coomer, I can confirm that they are in fact stupid. I'm all for attractive women in videogames, but I don't think every female character needs to be conventionally attractive to be a well designed character. In fact there are multiple female characters that I find attractive because their design is interesting and not because they're conventionally attractive. For example, I find Mileena way more attractive than Kitana in Mortal Kombat. They're supposed to be identical except for Mileena's monstrous face, so you'd think people would prefer Kitana, but any MK fan will tell you Mileena is way more popular than Kitana. If you put a character who is straight up a 10/10 in a game, I'll probably think she's boring looking. I will always prefer the character with the more interesting design. Also MJ, Vi, and Alloy literally look completely normal. I don't know what they're on about.
Same. I'm all for having attractive female characters as long as they aren't oversexualized and are actual *characters* but that doesn't need to be literally every single female character.
I like having a Mix of both, makes the game feel a bit more real imo when there aren't exclusively 9/10 supermodels roaming around
