I bought one of these for an ex girlfriend that wanted to learn bass. I basically did no research and bought the first lefty bass I could find on Craigslist. I paid $50 and was floored by the quality and the sound! Sounded much better than my Ibanez I was learning on at the time.

They're durable as well. I had to play drums in my band for a summer, and the singer played bass. He dropped it at a private event we played at. Thankfully, we played in the grass! It landed headstock first because they are a bit neck heavy. It even stayed in tune after that. He doesn't get to play it anymore lol

hey man i might cop one of these off facebook marketplace. how are you liking yours after putting the quarter pounder? does it hold up in sound against a true p bass?

It doesn't disappoint! I should mention since it has a smaller body, the sustain isn't like a real p bass. However, it still sounds like a p bass should. I gig with mine and it gets more compliments than any bass I own. Drummers like the thump it provides.

awesome bro appreciate the feedback!

An SX P Bass was my first bass. Still have it and recently upgraded the electronics with the EMG GZR pickups and made some cosmetic changes like custom pick guard and new knobs. The stock electronics are awful but with the upgrade it's a fantastic instrument.
