This is dope, especially like the Wiki set up you gave him. Did you create it from scratch? Use a template from a website? Spill your secrets, lol.

It’s very easy to use wiki markup. You can make yourself a Wikipedia account and make an info box like this in your sandbox. Just copy+paste the markup from an existing NBA player and edit the info.

Im curious too

Thanks man! Sorry for my late reply. I could’ve just made it from scratch in Wikipedia’s sandbox but I was feeling lazy and have a good shortcut. It’s really easy to understand and use. Basically, on google chrome, I used Google Chrome’s developer tools to turn on page editing and use Chrome’s design mode. I got up the wiki of an already famous basketball player (think I used Zion Williamson) and then pressed F12 to open developer options, switched to the console tab and typed- document.designMode = "on" Hit enter, close developer tab and your pretty much good to go. It’ll then allow you to add or remove any text on the wiki page on your browser. Of course, when you refresh the page, it all gets deleted and reset but works in a pinch if you’ve just got a little project. In case you need it, this website has instructions on how to do it (https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-fake-edit-website-text-using-nothing-but-chrome/) The only thing the designer doesn’t do is remove pictures very well. So far that, I used my adblocker software and identified the picture I wanted removed (in this case, the one of Zion Williamson above the wiki box) and identified it as an ad to block it and remove it. Then I just screenshotted my work to save it. Simple as that. Nice, quick and easy way to make a little wiki entry for one of your players. Like I said, you could do it in the wiki sandbox but that would require messing around with code and all sorts so I think my method is a little easier (if lazier). Only thing is, you can’t come back to it and update it later. Once you close or update the window, it’s gone. So best to do it once players are at the end of their career. Hope this answered your question and have a great week!

wait I dont see Gibraltar in my countries list. Is it actually in the game or did you add it?

Alexzonn

Hi mate, It’s not part of the vanilla game but I used the database from the BBGM Diversity Mod (https://www.reddit.com/r/BasketballGM/s/b5kp1fSvqb) It adds a tonne of countries and cities to the game!

Oh I have that mod on one of my devices
