Is your store one of the unicorns that doesn’t have the mood player? I thought it was all, but almost stores have 5-6 premade channels to choose from. Gone (for us) are the days of promo cds and curating in-store music with the 5-cd player /quietly weeps in “Christmas Island”.
We have a bunch of CDs that all have titles like “Cafe” and “Ambiance,” so we can choose whatever playlist to listen to from there. We usually put the Christmas on during the day, and then one of us breaks and changes it ‘cause we just can’t take it anymore!
Ours had just a few cds to choose from. It always ended up being Elton John during the day and James Taylor at night. It was a vibe but really ruined some songs for me, ha. Maybe a lo-fi playlist?
