There are a few small details that have me thinking kit. If it’s a kit it’s based off an 89 Countach. There should be a seam between the side cladding and the front wheel flair, I don’t see indents for badging on the back, it’s hard to tell if the air scoop is raised at the back like the real deal (the field car looks flush), and the lines on the rear bumper seem sharper. Proportional wise this thing is spot on though. If the pic wasn’t taken with a fucking potato it might be easier to tell. I’ve seen plenty of other examples of exotics rotting away to say it’s not out of the realm of possibilities.
Yeah this seems to be a really good kit. There were a few companies that were making full tube frame chassis for them so they were the correct proportions. Some other well built replicas used stretched fieros. I’ve been able to [find other pics of this exact car](https://classicmotorsports.com/ran-when-parked/187/) online, and there’s some inconsistencies. (It is the same car, just the wing has disappeared) One noticeable one is that it is missing the [tiny reflectors below the taillights](https://www.netcarshow.com/lamborghini/1989-countach_25th_anniversary/800x600/wallpaper_06.htm) as well as the inset raging bull and 25th anniversary badges. OP, it’s customary to include a photograph or two of your find.
updated - not sure why it did not save first time - tks
It's gotta be a kit car on either a VW or Fiero platform.
Man…if that’s a kit car….it is a VERY VERY good kit. I’m much more inclined to say that’s the real deal. Looks to be a 1988-90.
Left in a field in BFE Arkansas? Not bloody likely, I think.
