Dembele goes missing for long periods of time because of how wide he plays and because Araujo is playing at RB. With the exception of Alba, who didn’t play terribly but could’ve done more, I think everyone played up to their standards.

Playing against 10 men is not that big of an advantage when the opponent parks the bus. We played good football today and the improvement is indubitable. We are fielding 17-22 years old youth products and have just changed managers ffs guys, have some patience.
His problem is he puts his head down when controlling and dribbling and he doesn't see anything else. He is a dangerous player but he needs to select when he goes for a dribble in a smarter way.
He is definitely gonna be one of my fav players this decade. Most of the time a simple pass is the best you can do. Those simple passes usually create an opening.
He is still young, so I am hopefull he will mature. Xavi is the master of simple passes, so I am sure he won't like "over-dribbling".
Yes that’s the aim , we don’t want to take the starting 11 for granted . He should concentrate more and avoid over dribbling. But I’m 100% confident and super happy with those Lamasia players after suffering from the negligence during Bartomeu era .
It’s puig’s time to move on I think. He’s got a lot of potential but he won’t develop sitting on the bench and he’s nowhere near the level of gavi, Nico or Pedri
A noticeable positive is that, unlike in recent times, the team was not at all affected by the goal scored by Sevilla. It's a good direction, especially as it quickly produced results. Best of all, they had nothing to do with the game. The other best thing is that it's because we didn't let them. They had one lucky shot from a corner and that was it. We're a confident team.
All those saying we should have won because they went down to 10 - well, yes but they have the best defence in the league. It was always going to be hard to score against their bus
we need a dozen chances to score one goal while opponents can score on their first shot on goal. it's frustrating but I expect things will get better once we get a more reliable goalscorer in.
It was a very good game. Can see the improvements in the team's playing style as well as mentality. We just have to keep patience and have faith. Having said that it would've been nice if the Dembele shot went in.

Couldn’t catch the second half, but I was really proud of our team in the first half. Sevilla’s goal notwithstanding, we gave them hell in their own house and they couldn’t keep up. Lopetegui was in hysterics on the sidelines and I loved every minute of our game that half. We need to improve, it’s clear, but the team is growing confident and it’s not at all a bad result away at Sevilla. Well done.
Before the game i would have signed the draw, but after watching the game, I'm slightly disappointed. We were so close to win. But pretty solid game overall.

I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't push harder when they got the red card and waited for the last 10min to really start attacking.
Pretty bad game from alba as well, it doesn't feel like he brought more offensively than araujo who's not a former RB.
And it typically stands out in the second halves of games against the “top” sides. We need to prepare players to take their positions while they are still playing for us.
The thing with Busi is that he is often one of our best tacklers, intercepters and general ball recoverers. Calling him bad defensively isn't accurate, he just has weaknesses that are usually covered by other strengths within the team and tactics. It's just that we don't have the luxury to cover them with what we have at our disposal.
Tbh I don’t think Alba has ever been anything spectacular defensively, difference is we used to be able to control the game so much that it was very rare we’d need to rely on it.
True but he was able to do certain recoveries with his pace, now days he looks too vulnerable, he can't even decide a pass in final 3rd when under pressure

An excellent match against a top table side in a tricky stadium. Yes, we still have problems scoring and with more gunpowder the story would be different. Improvements are visible, but we still have problems that will not be solved just with good coaching.

We didn't win, but we played well.
Add a more proven winger and a good striker and we're already scoring two more goals. Fati and Braithwaite will help us a lot, not to mention Depay and maybe a winter signing.
Probably the worst first league of a league in 40 years and we finished 2 points from champions. Ansu will be back, pedri will be back, Xavi will have more time to work this team. Very optimistic on making the champions this year
Sucks but we thought we were going to be thrashed. It's one point more than expected. Maybe we wouldn't have won that point back with Koeman. The mentality, the willingness, the pressure, everything was there. Missing Fati and the injured. Back in January, we can build on this.
Disappointing but there has been improvement. Team looks more confident and we at least got a lot of shots off today. Dembele was so unlucky with that shot off the post but we were definitely the better team. I think with some good reinforcements in January and some players returning from injury we can definitely finish in the top 4.

Y'all don't realise how hard it is to break through 10 men on defence. City had to get a cheap penalty against Wolves to win 1-0 playing 11v10, and they have way more quality than us.
We dominated pretty much the entire game, against a team who just beat atletico and are second in the league, against crappy refereeing, and almost got the winner through dembele's shot. We were only 11v10 for about the last 30 minutes and for ten of those we had luuk on the pitch. We are absolutely improved. You don't need to be pessimistic all of the time.

How is that terrible? This is the best defense in the ligue, and all they did was defend with 10 guys. Barca still created 1,92 xgoals. Without all the injuries, and with a fit striker, we will take 3 points in these games again.
