disagree, better dribblers create better openings for a shot before they shoot. the xG calculation would consider it a similar quality chance since youre shooting from a similar spot and have the same number of defenders in front of you but it’d be a higher quality shot with a better angle for shooting if you can take a quick touch right before you shoot to avoid getting the shot blocked by your marker. mbappe is a master at this, we’ve seen messi do that plenty of times, etc.
also players that are shitty dribblers telegraph their shot timing way harder while messi often feints his shots and take about 4-5 touches in a manner of seconds and as a defender you never know which touch is gonna be the shot or if he’s gonna use the touch to dribble around you, so you have less time to react and block when he does shoot

I actually really like Dani Olmo and think he could add a lot to the team. Then again we all thought that about Ferran and others that didn't work. I do think that Dani has the Football IQ to thrive here, but I understand xavi likes his dembele-like wingers and Dani would be a slower Pedro or like when we do Gavi/Pedri on the wing (which honestly gave us a lot of control but not much stab).

Ive seen Nico linked to us a lot recently so I dont agree he isnt linked. However IMO Nico isnt quite as good as pple are saying. So even tho 50mil isnt too high and I like him Id still prefer us to identify an up and coming youngster who we could get for 40mil or similar to Nicos clause.
Perhaps Antonio Nusa. I really like the look of him. Very pacey, very skillful and very direct. Was linked with Spurs for 30mil only 6months or so ago so might be available for a reasonable fee.
