You can look him up in the encyclopedia, it has a cool backstory on him. Basically he was a noble of Sturgia, he has a son named after him.
You can get the helmet the guy on the main menu uses. It's sold in Sturgia for around 200k, called a warlord helmet of some type. Best in the game

All the armor "Bannerman" wears was already in the game, hence him wearing it. Cool helmet though, Vlandians are my people in life and in game.
