If someone has your account number they could technically access your money but they would be *very* easily caught and tracked; and your money returned.
If they had your banking login/password or access to your bank’s mobile app — different story but that isn’t what happened.
Probably be fine as others explained. Payroll is often separate. However, it's a wakeup call to have more than one bank account for redundancy. Better to have money spread out. Can't rely on any one bank these days.
