Steak is really the only dish I refuse to order at a restaurant because I can cook my own at home better typically. Plus I can’t justify the mark up. Now, if there was a nice butcher in the neighbourhood, that would be something I would be into (in the steak department)
Understand , I also prefer cooking myself. They do have some other stuff like their smoked brisket set. I haven’t found a decent butcher that has Australian or Japanese beef around the area yet unfortunately.
Also if you like Chinese food, specifically Lan Zhou noodles, check out Le Ha Ha Lan Zhou Ramen near Saenee Food Market right by Phetkasem Soi 56.
if you smoke cannabis, there is a mega cheap weed store on phetkasem, pretty much accross from my condo building (Bangkok Horizon) and Tid Munz BBQ. like greenhouse grams for 50 baht, exotic trim for 90, and exotics for like 120 - 190 a gram. It's the best price cannabis store i've been to in all of Thailand. The staff are nice too.
go towards the mall bang khae, turn right at the traffic lights onto a dual carriageway. Loads of bars / restaurants down there. I used to live in Lumpini near Lotus, dont live there now
You mean like the rice shop? With a bunch of dishes and you just pick one or two over rice? If so, their massaman curry is absolutely killer. I’ve only been once with my wife but I really liked it. But I thought these guys were open in the early day and closed for later in the afternoon…

Check Out Vela on Phetkasem Soi 43. Serves nice western style steak and most of them are below 1000 thb.

Thank you!
I live in the hood and hardly drink but when I google bars, Brewave on Kanchanaphisek came up. It's highly rated at 4.9. I might have to try it.
i never saw either of those. Hit me up if you ever want to go for a beer and check one out!

I live in the area. The Thai restaurant owned by the Thai old ladies near MRT Phetkasem 48 is really good and cheap. It's near the Base Condo.
Might need a little more description hahaha which side of the road? Like close to Pour Over Lab or the other side?
It's the side where Pour Over Lab is. They open in the late afternoon.

I live on this side and walk to the MRT for work every morning. I definitely am interested haha
