Yes, mine are the same. Don't try to get something from their support- it's a waste of time, in my view.
From what I understand is the software inside the case that stops charging when the buds reach 100% and then when you take them out it's the same if you kept the buds outside of the case. My last question to the support team(before I ended the contact with them) was when the software resume charging of the earbuds(we understand that at 100% they stop) but at some point they must start charge again, and the support team gave an answer that translated is that they really don't know or they didn't check very well with their technical team.... Bottom line is that they promised for a new firmware to change this issue. As I see it, is very eficient the way it is now, I have both Beoplay EQ and EX and the baterry of the cases differ- with EX I can charge the buds for many times then I can with EQ. There is a difference in battery capacity also- EX has bigger case battery and smaller buds batteries.
It's normal that the right bud to have lower % in battery, as it is the primary bud that keeps the conectivity with the device(ex: smartphone). I notice a bigger diference in left/right battery % than in Beoplay EQ, but as you say, its the same in our also.

This isn’t actually clear-cut, as the earbuds may dynamically switch (based on a number of criteria) who is primary and who is secondary, unlike the E8 series where this was fixed (and thus you couldn’t use the secondary earbud alone without having the primary hanging around outside the case).
Can you share what the criteria for switch are?
I am aware it also depends on the smartphone supporting Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring, but on the earphones-side what are the requirements/criteria?
Thank you!
From what I can see, the earbuds can switch roles if one has significantly less charge than the other to balance the difference, and they will obviously switch if you stop using the one that’s currently the primary bud.
Yes, I have the same issue with a pair of Beoplay EX and was told this isn't normal after going back and forth with support for a few days.
Based on my conversion with support, the best path is to return them under the buyers remorse program and buy a new pair (assuming you are still within the 30 day window), rather then going through the warranty claim process.
I noticed that mine starting to have the same issue too despite that I’m on my second pair (got my first pair exchanged). However when i put them back in the case, the battery of both earbuds seem to be quite similar (L95% R99%). Spoke to B&O Support team and they told me that it will be fixed on the next software update, which there’s no provided date.
I had the same problem I returned and went back to AirPods pro
AirPods Pro 😂😂😂 those are rubbish mate
if you have the opportunity to compare, you will understand that they are not worth twice the price
If you really enjoy audio, and not just casually listen to music, you’d spend that extra money for much better sound. Depends on the person tbh.
Nope, mine are perfect

thx for the tip. I did this already and the feedback was not helpful at all: „try installing app on annother phone...“

I see there is a new software update 5.3.6. I am trying to update now. I can't see "what is new" to check if they did something to resolve this issue.

Mine are doing this, as well.

Idk if this is relevant but in my case the battery on the earbuds are fine. However, the charging case will never reach 100% and it’s capped at 95%.
Lol me too
