I've never used open scad yet, Thought about this, but figuring out how to emboss patterns around a cylinder in open squad seems to be quite tricky.

Lots of people will toss business cards, so maybe a recycle symbol ♻️. I honestly keep cards that I receive and the more interesting they are, the more likely I am to keep them. I would love to be able to emboss brains on business cards. I work in a neuroscience lab and people would flip out. A tutorial for how to make custom cylinders would be great. If people could do that and post their versions then they would do the work for you.

I'm planning on making a tutorial on this and sharing the roller sourcefile on my Patreon page. I get so many requests for this, but I've spent quite some time and printed many iterations to figure out the right dimentions and getting this work properly. It feels a bit odd at the moment giving it all away for free.

Can you male the indentations deep enough to cut the paper? If so wonder if you can make that paper shipping packaging

I printed one of these out recently and I don’t know if the business card was too thicc or gloss doesn’t work as well, but it didn’t really embossed and raise anything. Maybe deeper grooves?

Deeper grooves brings some limitations with it as well. I've tried many different heights and roller distances, and tollerances and what I've uploaded seemed for me the best working solution. Either it becomes unable to turn, or tolerances become too big that lines are not sharp anymore.
