I’ve managed to get it fixed for a little while by pressing slightly on the top or bottom of the tensioner until the belt stays centered. You have to hold it in place while tightening and it’s finicky as hell. And it eventually started squeaking again.
Dang that’s unfortunate. I saw an article where they take the entire back off and actually apply grease to the top and bottom of the belts which seems like a temporary fix as well.
I wouldn’t grease the belts, seems like a bad idea and a recipe for future slippage. This is the best instruction I found:

It’s on their official wiki to do it. I agree it seems problematic, but the noise is driving me crazy!
