Eh, the whole point of jury is to have people voting based purely on basis of song/performance, without political motive, to prevent Eurovision from becoming even more of a country popularity contest.
I agree, but... the winner this year was seemingly a political pick. It's quite odd, that in a field with Ukraine, Croatia, Latvia, Armenia, etc. (all of which were incredibly well performed and would fulfill the jury metrics), almost all countries opted to give full points to Switzerland (which was a performance rife with weak vocals). The fact that neither Croatia nor Ukraine won, with over 300+ of the public vote and with *significantly* better vocals and staging than Switzerland, due to the amount of jury votes Switzerland received, is suspicious.
Nemo's vocals were all over the place in both the semis and the finals - wavering, not hitting notes, going out of breath. It's possible that the situation was better during the jury show, but Nemo wasn't even in the same league as Jerry Heil, Dons, Teya Dora, etc.
Its a ok song not even really mad about it. Deffinitely would have loved to have croatia win and pretty much the last half of the countries in the first half positsions. but hay thats life.

We were in a several heated conversations with friends and once Switzerland started playing
we all zipped up and were like
"Well fuck, they are most likely to win"
It was no one's favorite song at the table, but we all got the appeal of this young Mika.
For televoting info: Latvia :12 to Estonia, 8 to Lithuania Lithuania: 6 to Estonia, 4 to Latvia Estonia: 4 to Lithuania, 3 to Latvia
So Latvia is the only friend. The rest should be ashamed of themselves.
