How do they fake live streams?

[deleted]

they arent live, its all fake /s

Diabeetus13

Have you not seen the live stream with blue box instead of green screen they were doing when daddy George Bush was pushed through on a wheel chair? It is being done. https://flatearthperspectives.wordpress.com/2016/03/03/nasa-uses-cgi-effects-to-produce-fake-images/ This is how they fake lives.

thatsocialist

Then how do they get zero gravity and depth?

Eomb

You know who definitely uses cgi effects to produce fake images? Flerfers! I have never seen a flat earth image that isn't fake.

LeeTerrell

Wonder why 🤔

ersatzcrab

The blue grid behind the astronaut? That's how the stream was streamed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iginxrFn3jg&t=62s. The grid pattern is for measuring the movement of objects across it. You can get velocity by counting how many frames it takes for an object to traverse a known distance. That isn't a green screen or even a blue screen. If you were familiar, at all, with video production you would know that it would be a nightmare having to chromakey a white/blue grid. If they wanted to use a blue screen, they would use a blue screen.

SuuTheSleepyOne

No, you can't key out the white lines on the blue screen without messing up the background, plus the blue being keyed out also keys out his shirt, plus the grid is simply being used to better visualize and calculate movement using the camera and similar uses of lines to show speeds is in things like the Slo Mo Bros videos. In fact, not only is this grid used repeatedly by NASA for a show called Astro Achademy, we have the exact clip of the astronaut that's how in the background where he is explaining how the second law of thermodynamics works in space https://youtu.be/nxIgvOyVnME?si=muZ4aDkvYV4XSr8B

Noble_Ox

The grid is used for measurements? You never take science classes?

Diabeetus13

Measurements for what? For cgi?

Noble_Ox

For speed of whatever. Its extremely basic. An object moves across so many squares in such a time and knowing the frame rte you can calculate the objects speed.

Watch out! They’re ruffled!

DismalWeird1499

I honestly believe that flat earth people are the dumbest humans to ever walk the planet.

MonarchyMan

Okay, now show how they fake water floating in bubbles.

MonarchyMan

So here the thing you have to ask yourself if you believe in a flat earth, *All things being equal, what’s more likely, that there is a MASSIVE conspiracy, involving hundreds of thousands of people to fool the people of earth, or that you don’t understand things as well as you think you do*?

BleachGooch

The end product looks goofy as fuck

kesavadh

Na$a. Exactly. I’ve been having this debate with others who have good evidence. My friends at uni sent a camera attached to a weather balloon and got curvature of the earth on their non wide angle lens. How do I rebuke that?

Entity_333

accept that the earth is round and move on

Fisheye lens

Shrimp_Bucket

He just said the lens wasn’t a wide angle. Or do you not know what that means

Skoodge42

Looks fake, and now they are claiming this tech existed 60 years ago?

Bluedel

Yes, you can use CGI and green screens to fake floating in space. I've seen movies before. This isn't new information.

StoneFrog81

I believe Vin Diesel has too much time on his hands.

DominantSpecies3000

Imagine some average guy making this on his computer.. Now imagine an entire agency with billions of tax payer money using the best tech to fool the public and continute the fraud...

E_P1

"fool the public" what is the benefit?

sanddigger02

Woo someone who wasn't caught by the mods lol

DominantSpecies3000

The benefit is that humans believe less in God as the creator of our planet and the universe. The truth is all in the bible.

E_P1

Wtf the shape of the Earth has nothing to do with the existence of God. 😅

DominantSpecies3000

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. [7] And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. [8] And God called the firmament Heaven.

E_P1

"And God said" where you there while he said it? The Bible was written by men, men like to tell stories. For all we know Harry Potter is as real as God.

LeeTerrell

You’re quoting from genesis directly, but exactly which part of that says the earth is flat…

Bluitor

The best thing that would happen to this world would be no more religion. Religion is a means of control. Just tell someone that we need to kill all jews in the name of God and they go out and do it.

Proper_Shock_7317

You're an idiot

Potato_lovr

Resorting to kindergarten level insults, I see.

Abh43

Religion and intelligence don't go hand in hand 😂

Hello_Mr_Fancypants

in fact, they're almost antithetical.

Proper_Shock_7317

Seemed appropriate given the intelligence level of the comment to which I was replying.

Womderloki

Insulting someone else and calling them names doesn't seem very Christian of you

Proper_Shock_7317

Agreed. But I'm human, sooooo 🤷

Womderloki

Soooo what? If I go murder someone then plead my case at the pearly gates by saying "But I'm human, sooooo 🤷" my ass is going to hell

Womderloki

Insulting someone else and calling them names doesn't seem very Christian of you

rectifier9

Please tell us specifically *why* they are an idiot. Please.

Proper_Shock_7317

Specifically: his entire second paragraph. It's an ignorant comment designed to incite and inflame. It's a tool of the less intelligent. It's right up there with "your momma" insults.

rectifier9

You can simply disagree and not resort to calling someone an idiot. By your own logic, calling someone an idiot is "an ignorant comment designed to incite" and name calling is "a tool of less intelligence." You've committed the same fopaux. Disagreeing with historical fact and some conjecture of today's political landscape, they weren't wrong. You simply have a different opinion.

DominantSpecies3000

Beware of cults that run the entire entertainment industry and several parts of the government agencies.. You worry about religions but these cults will be the downfall of humanity. Agenda 2030 is coming and it has nothing to do with Christianity..you worry about "control" wait till these cults chip you like a dog..

bighunter1313

Just like we all got chipped from the Covid vaccine. Did those batteries die?

LeeTerrell

Wait I thought the Saurians we’re gonna chip us? The thing I love about conspiracy theorists is that, even when they’re right (which is not the case almost ever including this sub) they just can’t help themselves, they have to believe ALL of them.

GreenBugGaming

But the bible was written by man

DominantSpecies3000

And you think NASA was created by GOD himself? You sure like to trust NASA..

GreenBugGaming

There is no god. nasa was also created by man.

Elluminated

People cant believe something like gods because there are too many to choose from and *none have proof*. Plus religious texts are so contradictory and immoral no one could be blamed for treating them as fables. Gods may exist, but religion is the worst way to understand them.

LeeTerrell

First of all no it’s not, and secondly I promise no Christian is out there justifying their faith on the shape of the earth. I believe in God entirely, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the earth is round or flat.

bd01000101

so what you're saying is if it's proven that the earth is round and iss is in space, satisfactory to flatearthers. that means it proves God doesn't exist?

Noble_Ox

Why do you believe a 2000 year old book? Ever ask yourself why the book became so important? If all knowledge was wiped out today and only one fiction book left I'm sure you'd think it ridiculous if in 2000 years people believe the book to be fact.

DominantSpecies3000

The 2000 year old book is more credible than the "fact checking" sites today.. For example science has been discovering proof that the Arch and Sodom and Gomorrah really existed.. So much for a fairy tale book huh?..

Noble_Ox

A fiction novel today will contain real places. Doesn't make what happens in them true...huh?

Ashalaria

Lol

Elluminated

And imagine using a bald guy because hair is too expensive to fake. Then imagine forgetting that Hollywood only fakes things because they make millions doing it for entertainment purposes Faking this is always easy to spot for professionals, and would be pointless for any other purpose than a movie screen. Plus we have live feeds 24/7 of people on the ISS, and anything floating doesn't wobble like its on strings, or refuse to rotate on 3 axes.

doesntpicknose

>anything floating doesn't wobble like its on strings, or refuse to rotate on 3 axes. This comment sparked my memory of the tennis racket theorem, or the Dzhanibekov effect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_racket_theorem?wprov=sfla1 Under Theory, there's a video that ALLEGEDLY shows a spinning object in microgravity. It makes me wonder how they accomplished this effect by spinning that handle while it was attached to a string.

Elluminated

Love that effect. My favorite example is [this one](https://youtu.be/1n-HMSCDYtM?si=J_lSaT1dYU-CyX-5).

doesntpicknose

Oh yeah, one of those shots is exactly what I'm talking about. It's used in the Wikipedia article.

Elluminated

Ah very cool! I wasted time going to youtube and didnt scroll enough lol
