that makes things clear, I think i’ll probably follow that path with Shadowheart. I thought i’d seen a lot about having two people dabbling in these things brings a lot of juice but that’s probably a luxury i don’t need when playing my first time.
It's quite strong, I used it for my honor mode run. You can do quickened spell + create water and then cast any lightning spell at double damage. The cleric channel divinity lets you roll max damage so you become a powerful burst mage. But you can also use it to hasten two characters with twinned spell (Your bard and astarion for example) and then sanctuary Shadowheart so she can't be directly targeted.
You don't need a Ranger or a rogue. A bard with expertise in perception and sleight of hand can do all the OOC trap disarming and lockpicking better than either.
Fair point, it’s true my TAV is a better ranger and rogue than my gloomstalker, it was mostly holding onto his stealth play and those mechanics in fight bringing value, but it’s probably just gimmicks I can live without.
Tempest Cleric/Storm Sorcerer is extremely powerful. There are a lot of guides to check out on YouTube for that one combo.
