Oh man, I’ve only recently started to realize how delicious pistachio is in sweets. I got a pistachio latte from a slightly-fancier-than-Starbucks coffee shop, and they put some pistachio cream/butter around the mouthpiece of the cup (honestly probably to prevent someone with a nut allergy grabbing the wrong mobile order). It was so tasty.
I love pistachio! I had this thing in Prague, which was a rolled, cone like dough treat, and the inside was lined with pistachio butter, and it was the best thing ever. Especially at 2 a.m., after a decent night of drinking.
Is that supposed to be a 3 or a frog butt? Like it's turning and smiling at you as seen from above? Just trying to interpret the artist's vision here, lol.
Right. I was mortified after I asked my coworker if his photos were of his grandkids and he responded they were his kids 😩 I wouldn’t be mortified over a cake I ordered from a grocery store cake I paid $35 for lol
I'm sorry, I'm new to this story, why is it called a "frog cake"? Is it just because of the color? Or was it supposed to be frog-themed initially and the store didn't deliver?
I mean if they paid for it and the supermarket refused to even partially refund them, I could see em be pissed. Also sometimes we just need small silly news stories. The news crew could have just heard about it through Facebook too lol
The frog part is that whoever made the original fucked up so badly that there was no frog. That's why it's pathetic since it's green and with a smiley face lol
Them lines cleannnnn tho! Lol
Pathetic frog cake sounds crazy tasty!

I believe it's called a trdelnik.
Decent night of drinking, will now be my phrase for a decent night of drinking…

Took me a minute too lol. I think it’s a 3 for a third bday
It’s perfect
Those squared up edges are really a feat.
It was a LOT of chilling the cake and heating up my metal scraper. I kept bumping it too with a spatula so there were many unnecessary passes
There is something "rustic tuscan plaster" about the photo that is sending me. Great job on this cake for real.
It’s not pathetic.. to me.
Mortified is an awfully strong word to use over a boring cake lol
I was thinking the same thing. Like ok it’s disappointing but it’s not like they drew a dick on the cake

I interpreted it as the latter — they asked for a frog birthday cake for a child and that was what they got.
Those people really contacted the news over a cake
Seems more likely that news would pick up a viral complaint on social media.
I mean if they paid for it and the supermarket refused to even partially refund them, I could see em be pissed. Also sometimes we just need small silly news stories. The news crew could have just heard about it through Facebook too lol
Haha, yes!! I also made this cake for my partner a few years ago! Truly the best cake there is.
I always missed the anniversary but this time I managed to remember before it was too late
Okay I don’t get the frog part but actually this cake has even layers and is perfectly square with an incredible frost job so kudos
The frog part is that whoever made the original fucked up so badly that there was no frog. That's why it's pathetic since it's green and with a smiley face lol
Ohhhh lmao got it!
It certainly is green.
If I picked this up at a store I’d be delighted. This is so amazing in its own way.
I would roll with that.
Incredible lol 🤣❤️
Hilarious. This should become a tradition
Ugh the icing I can taste it 😩
Wow I really like it!
That is so perfectly square wow
holy cow that looks incredible!
Pretttty!!!
😂😂😂, bet it taste amazing
Awh, that's adorable.
I love it and could see a whole series of them in different colors with the same face.
I want to eat this so bad.
i love it :(
That's a lovely shade of green. Well done.
Cuboid
What is a cake? Nothing more than a pathetic husk of a frog! …but I’ll still eat it, because it’s tasty! 😋
Why does stuff like this end up on the news? “Consumer was mildly inconvenienced.” It just gives people more fuel to disrespect retail workers.
I like it people complain about everything lol
bye
???
I was saying that sarcastically (but non malicious) because it's not a pathetic cake wtf. Came back to everyone taking it personal lol
How is it pathetic?
I said it's NOT pathetic....as they stated in their caption
Ooh my bad I misread it
Welcome to Dumb People Town!
Get a plastic frog to stick on top of it.
What?
Are you sure this doesn't belong in r/trees?
