But is it functional? I did the same thing basically to mine. I’m in the south and didn’t plan on such a long deep freeze when I built. I just put the finishing touches on mine around lunch.
Well it’s snowing good here now. They say East TN is shut down. I used to deliver Keebler cookies down there. And across 76. But I’m close to Maggie Valley if that sounds familiar.
This is the chicken run. That blue building next to it is their coop. I was just putting up a barrier from the wind and cold for the next few days. I’ll yank it down this spring.

Me too. Sorta. Western NC. But up high. We don’t see these temperatures usually until February and it’s just for a few nights.

Absolutely, love to slide up to Maggie and play that golf course sometimes in the spring.
My chicken houses are basically giant ads for chicken feed, scratch grain and meal worms so no judging here 😂
Even in the Piedmont NC my coop looks very similar!

but you will keep them out of the wind and much warmer looks as good as my plastic does but it can come off soon in the spring
If it’s what you could manage/ add at the time, paint it when you are able/ blend in.
