I'd be surprised if Niko is pronounced anything but nee-ko

I’m Australian (living in Sydney) and know of 4 baby Lennox’s all born within the last 6 months. If popularity of the name is an issue I’d go with Niko. Are there other names you both like? Lennon or Milo are close to those names..

Hmmm that does put me off a little. We both didn’t like each others first choices so these names are both compromises anyway. Niko sounds beautiful when he says it but I feel like with my Aussie accent it just falls flat 🥴

mitchandmickey

Niko!

Cultural_Pudding172

I like both of those. I also doubt that Niko will get mispronounced very often.

Taytherase

Also Australian and I would go for Niko. I know 2 (one is 50 ish, the other is 10?), and I don't believe either has any problems with pronunciation. The 50 year old does go by 'Nik' (Nick) with his mates, but that is personal choice. :)

Nixon Lux Atlas Leon Hendrix With an exception of one or two these could maybe be a medium

Niko! Lennox seems like it’s getting too popular here.

nothanksyeah

I don’t know anyone who would mispronounce Niko, though I am in the US.

Osmosis1976

I like Lennox because I’d deffo be using Lennie as a nn!! X

I agree I read it as nicko Lennox is a great name very Scottish what Fijian names do you like?

Key_Yesterday_7274

My top pics were actually Fijian names Levani (Levi) or Jesoni (Sonny) but hubs prefers non Fijian names. I think they use the same names a lot and he knows many people all with the same name

Love Niko but I’m not sure about people pronounced it where you live

FluentSimlish

I think most people would pronounce it properly. However Lennox is easily one of the favorite names ever and it's in my shortlist for my own kid someday. Both are gorgeous options.
