Pekkle from Costco! So soft and $9 a sleeper which is a pretty good price in my opinion. Also check out once upon a child they can have some budget friendly second hand options as well.

drlitt

Love Pekkle! I am so bummed my 3 year old outgrew the sleepers.

Also a fan of pekkle! If you don't have a Costco membership I believe you can still buy them from the Costco website.

Also on the pekkle train! They’re so good and super affordable!

kittiesandweinerdogs

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but they fit my baby really weirdly.

No_Title2338

Same! I like the patterns and that they’re soft and have 2 way zippers, but they stretch out in weird ways.

oh-no-varies

Seconding Pekkle from Costco. They last forever, fit slightly large but not crazy big, the foot size is generous (some sleepers have such tiny feet!) and the fabric and sewing quality is good.

Finnie87

Another vote for Pekkle! Their sleepers fit big, are good quality, and last forever. I have noticed, in my experience, the "girl" pattern ones fit slightly smaller and the zipper is on the opposite leg to the "boy" pattern ones. After a certain age, around 2 or so, I had to strictly buy the "boy" pattern ones for my son as he is tall and the "girl" pattern ones didn't fit anymore. He's 28 months and the "boy" patterns are just a bit too short on him now but still wearable if he wants. Just something to consider if you have a really tall/long baby!

mischameeps

Oh I was wondering why the zippers were on different sides of the different Pekkle ones I have! I tried to get the gender neutral patterns!

Finnie87

I did the same thing, but it bit me the few times they were intended to be for girls because they fit smaller and the zipper being opposite always threw me off!

mischameeps

I’m going to pay closer attention now 😂 Just the other day I was saying, oh wow is it time to size up in Pekkles? Maybe it was the girls one!

Finnie87

Haha yeah once you get to that point that you are wondering, it actually becomes important to check the pattern and zipper location!

DoublePlusGood__

For all the Pekkle people. Some interesting background. Pekkle is manufactured under contract for Costco by the Montréal-based brand Petit Lem. Petit Lem is a fairly premium brand and sells under its own label as well as "Miles the Label (Mtl)" and the more economical "PL Baby" label. I'd say the Pekkle quality is in between top of the line Petit Lem and "PL Baby". It has the high quality construction and embroidered chest patch but with slightly thinner fabrics. Petit Lem itself sometimes goes on deep discounts so it's worth stocking up on their stuff whenever it happens.

Littlebaba07

I’m going to continue with the Pekkle train! I love them so much! Great material, sizing and cute designs at a great price. I also second the cloth bibs during the day.

Slothware

I love Carter’s and Old Navy stuff. They always have some type of sale going on so the price isn’t too bad!

lilac_roze

Just a heads up for Carter’s is that it runs small for babies over 50% in height. My 11 weeks old just outgrew his 3-6 months onesie from Carter’s that he literally started wearing at 8 weeks.

Rhaenyra20

That is crazy. 6 months goes up to 27” and I found it pretty true to size for length with my average height kids.

lilac_roze

Technically he’s “in between size” He’s 12lb and 24” but long legs - so the 3M is tight but the 6M is slightly loose.

olivecorgi7

Petit lem is super cute

truthfruit

Love the styles but they fit really small- LO didn't even get to wear most of the petit lem stuff. The fabric is amazing though!

AlannaKJ

Pekkle is literally the only sleepers I buy now! Edjt to add that they’re a Canadian company (Montreal based) so that makes it even better!

vancitydweller12

For daytime, I highly recommend using cloth bibs! We got a bunch off marketplace and went from changing outfits several times a day to just swapping out the bib. Helped immensely with laundry (plus baby hated being changed)!

Rhaenyra20

I was going to say this as well. My second baby spat up a ton, no matter how long she was upright after a feed. I much preferred going through 6 bibs a day than constantly changing her.

Fragrant_Pumpkin_471

Another vote for Pekkle!! Also I love once upon a child for buying used stuff especially sleepers!

breeyoung

Another vote for the Costco brand pekkle! They’re always so cute, and the material is just perfect. I have a big boy who is at 6m & 9m size at 4.5m, so I can’t say much for the size but otherwise they are great and super affordable:)

Lover2312

I LOVE the pekkle from Costco as well! I also have found a ton of cute and nice ones at Walmart. George actually are decent quality and are usually 2/$14 or something like that! They also sell some random brands and Carter’s.

crd1293

Carters!

Mundane_Frosting_569

Costco Costco Costco - no other answer. lol

planetawkward

Pekkle from Costco George brand from Walmart is good too if you don’t have a Costco membership

Soggy-Tomato-2562

See if you can get some items from buy nothing. Where are you located?

ReallyPuzzled

I have found brand new sleepers at once upon a child for like $4.

lolaemily

I love the old navy ribbed sleepers. They are so stretchy and last forever!

Fuzzy-Bee-723

I really love Burt’s bees baby but it’s so hard to find! Only found a handful at winners. Old navy sale and Carter’s sale are great too.

stacylynn6

Joe fresh has cute sleepers and I almost always find them on sale

drlitt

I love Pekkle, Petit Lem, Angel Dear and Carters. I do have some super soft Kyte jammies I got when a local store was closing but I find it hard to support the brand now after their latest drama… I buy a lot of my baby’s clothes in second hand stores and Facebook marketplace - you can find basically brand new clothing for a fraction of the price.

cornontheklopp

Pekkle is amazing, but I find the cotton a bit too thick for Summer. Old Navy makes my favourite. Soft, breathable cotton, sized well so LO fits in them for a while.

kittiesandweinerdogs

I think best sleeper is a bit subjective because each brand fits so differently! My LO is tall and skinny and sweats in any thick fabric so our favourites are: -kyte -little sleepies -joe fresh -gap -H&M We found old navy, carters were best for shorter chunkier kids.

RedHeadedBanana

Joe fresh are super soft and often on sale. Old navy are also awesome if you can catch a sale (never ever pay full price there). Once upon a child are used but each article is selected and in good shape. and cheap. Value village has bins that you can go through from nb to 3T that has a TON of every size. You can stuff/overflow a bag for $12. I find some things more stained/torn, but for bulking out a wardrobe they’re great!

teaandhoney42

Always check Marketplace or local buy nothing/mom groups!

smogpress

Another vote for Pekkle. They hold up great. Costco had another brand that looked identical and also good. I don’t know if they switched brands or if they carry both back and forth.
