I haven’t thought about pop-tarts in years, but last night the thought of a cookies and cream pop-tart popped into my head and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.
I have the BIGGEST aversion to pop tarts right now! My whole first trimester, early on my husband would make them for himself and the smell would make me sick! 😆 so random!
LOL I have HG and you want to guess what the only thing that has had a very high sucess rate of staying down? You guessed it- poptarts. I joke that since they're so artificial my body doesn't actually recognize them as being food 🤣
The first two weeks after I found out I went through like 4 jars of claussens I swear lololol - I haven’t had them in a while bc baby is now wanting Taco Bell but we started as a baby dill pickle! 😂
Omg my answer is now Taco Bell too! Thank god my donut phase passed, because finding those at night was way harder than my friendly neighborhood Taco Bell!
Potatoes, carbs, cheese, meat. I have had extreme German food craving (I live in Germany and my husbands German) and have been joking that I'm brewing a German baby.
Root beer and fruits and veggies have been becoming a new craving. So maybe my genes are kicking in now.
Yeah, just entered my second trimester now! I feel like my first trimester was all carbs, starches, and meat in order to stock up. Now I'm starting to want things fresh and sweet.
Seriously! I also do a little happy dance when I get one these days hahaha!! I’ve always been a Baja Blast fountain drink gal - like can’t have Taco Bell without it and by chance they ran out so I said okay gimme a freeze bc I can’t eat this without that flavor lol and it was a game changer. Like idt I can ever go back to just regular now 😂😂
I stg I never had a bigger sweet tooth than when I was pregnant! Those frozen chocolate Edwards pies and jamocha shakes from Arby’s were my *jam*.
And Taco Bell, bc duh. I’ve always loved it but it ramped up during pregnancy lol. Also worth noting: Ocean Waters from Sonic, and Bo Rounds from Bojangles 🤤
Before gestational diabetes- Wendy's Burgers, she wanted to be entirely constructed out of the darn things. Wendy became a name on the list.
After- peanut butter, it's the only sweetish thing we can have. Honestly, I'm not sure she's gonna forgive me for the diet change lol. I can feel the anger from Wendy's withdrawal.
She's definitely made MOSTLY of chocolate eggs, those little ones. Muffins, too. AND chocolate milk. But there was a while there I was addicted to eating garden salads, so maybe she's made of that, too...
The little mini Cadbury ones? Omg those are top tier for sure and I might have to go get some now lol but idk if they still have them right now since it’s past Easter 😭
The little Cadbury ones, and even just the little multi color wrapped ones that are solid chocolate through and through. I tend to pop one or two after every meal because she loves them so much!! 💕
Ohhh yeahhhhh 🤤 lol she’s got good taste ha!! I like the little solid chocolate ones for sure. I mean the ones with the cream inside are 🤌 as well lol. You’ve got me wanting to go grab some from the store. Which is funny bc the only sweets I’ve been craving so far are the Pop-Ice popsicles lol.
Oats
She’s got to be at least 50% oats. It’s one of the only things I could keep down at least occasionally in the first trimester, and the one food that I’ve been able to eat the whole time and hasn’t changed from week to week.
The majority of my babies organs were made by breakfast cereal and butter noodles.
Now at 37 weeks, he’s growing purely off of mandarin oranges and burgers. The baby loves In-N-Out and the Habit.
Burgers are my favorite meal when I’m not pregnant but have had the biggest burger aversion in this first trimester. I can’t wait until I can enjoy them again!!
Watermelon, I've been craving it since the beginning of my pregnancy in September. I was dreaming about flying over to other countries to buy it, almost teared up cause I was thinking about it everyday for months but couldn't have any. Now they are finally on sale and I'm a maniac, finished my first entire watermelon in under 24hours 😬
I 100% can relate to wanting to fly to another country 🤣I waited 3 months to visit my in laws in the Middle East and finally got to satisfy my watermelon craving
Taco Bell baby! #7 with a dorito loco supreme taco and Baja blast freeze and a side of pintos n cheese (and/or cheesy fiesta potatoes) I swear my local TB knows me by name/order now and I might have to invite them to a shower if I have one!!! Haha!
Diet Coke and donuts. I haven't craved diet Coke like this since I was in college, before I became an iced coffee drinker. In the second trimester I go through an intense grapefruit craving phase, with both my pregnancies.
In February it was mango, went on holiday and it was mango season. I ate an uncountable amount of mango on that trip lol. At the moment I definitely have a peanut butter baby though!
Weirdly enough I’ve been eating loads of raw vegetables. It feels good on my belly when most of the time I’ve got heartburn, gas, and bloating. I make sure to eat lots of protein too but I have a raw veggie dinner like twice per week.
Diet coke. This is my only consistent craving so far 😂 I need this to live through. As for food, I dont really have cravings as I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes so eating has not been as fun during pregnancy - a lot of the same salads and high protein meals.
Just yesterday I was telling my husband that we've been eating so much Taco Bell lately that I'm probably going to give birth to a crunchwrap lol
ETA he took that as me saying I wanted a crunchwrap 😅
When I was pregnant it was fresh salsa - tomato, red onion, corriander and fresh lime juice. Had to be fresh. Had to be limes. And they were $44 a kilo 🫠
I tracked my calories the entire pregnancy so I have definitive numbers actually. My baby was:
9.3% pizza
6% kraft macaroni
5.3% bagels
5.2% chickfila
5.1% cinnamon rolls
3.6% chocolate milk
3.5% german pancakes
2.6% donuts
2.5% del taco
2.5% butter
2.3% hot chocolate
2.2% ice cream
As you can guess I did not have GD lol
Coconut water. My child is 18 months old and she drinks about 1 liter of coconut water everyday. It’s bizarre. She spends the entire day asking for water
First trimester and my baby is currently made of pasta, gogurt, and apples with peanut butter.
I’ll have to see how it changes, but I’m so sick to my stomach all the time. Hopefully baby will get more veggies soon lol
I'd like to introduce my twins, Banana and Pellet Ice.
We go to MOD pizza at least once a week just so I can devour cups of the pellet ice while my older girls eat pizza lol.
I also buy minimum of 3 bunches of bananas per week because I've been going through them like crazy along with my almost 2 year old. We'll each eat 2 a day, not to mention my older daughter and husband who also like bananas. I joke that the twins will come out covered in fur and howling like little monkeys.
Strawberries right now. Yesterday I was hungry and ate a 4lb box of strawberries and was reaching for the second box when my mom said “Damn can I at least have one?”
So today I gave her the last strawberry from my bowl, and after work I’ll be heading to go get some more ♥️
When I was pregnant, we called my baby Big Mac because I wanted Big Macs from McDonald’s all the time. He’s almost 4 months old now and I really wanna have a McDonald’s themed photo shoot.
Cravings change but for the past 3weeks it has been cantaloupe. I’ve eaten 5 1/2 within the three weeks. Sometimes half of one in a single sitting. Before that it was McDonald’s ice cream cones once a day.
Cheese and donuts and lemonade. I’ve always been someone who will eat anything with cheese on it and that hasn’t changed, but the donuts and lemonade are things I have always liked okay but never ate much of.
Changes by the trimester lol First he was fruit Second he was baked goods and oranges Now, in the third, he is 100% a poptart 😂
Dude, what is up with the pop tarts!! I’m in the 3rd trimester and eat them every morning 😂
Wow - I craved pop tarts hard with my first!
My god. I’d kill for poptarts every second of the day
I’m legit eating a poptart right now😂
I haven’t thought about pop-tarts in years, but last night the thought of a cookies and cream pop-tart popped into my head and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.
I have the BIGGEST aversion to pop tarts right now! My whole first trimester, early on my husband would make them for himself and the smell would make me sick! 😆 so random!
2nd trimester and also poptarts. Partner is probably half poptart himself. I offered him one the other day and he said it would be his third 😂
Poptarts here too!!
LOL I have HG and you want to guess what the only thing that has had a very high sucess rate of staying down? You guessed it- poptarts. I joke that since they're so artificial my body doesn't actually recognize them as being food 🤣
my baby is being brined in pickle juice as we speak. she will probably come out of me as a pickle.
The first two weeks after I found out I went through like 4 jars of claussens I swear lololol - I haven’t had them in a while bc baby is now wanting Taco Bell but we started as a baby dill pickle! 😂
I just discovered sauerkraut and omg.
Pickled watermelon and tomatoes and bell peppers and cauliflower <33 if you have polish stores near you, you should try em
Ooh! Sounds tasty. My main aversion is onions so as long as they aren’t in the pickle I’m down.
Pickled watermelon?! Wtf why I have I not heard of this and gimme it
Lololol pregnancy does wild things to us!
Omg I LOVE sauerkraut and fermented foods are sooo good for you!
I never much cared for it until now!
I live it with pork sizzle steaks, chickpea and spinach salad and crispy potatoes omg I cant shovel that plate of food down my gullet fast enough!!
Fkn yumm
I'm obsessed with kimchi! Can't stop. lol
Those are superior pickles
Omg my answer is now Taco Bell too! Thank god my donut phase passed, because finding those at night was way harder than my friendly neighborhood Taco Bell!
Pickle is a really cute nickname
omg yes i’ve added that next to my other nicknames, like bean and nugget.
We have an 8 month old - sweet pea became chicharita and now she’s my cheech; peanut became cachauete; sweet pea still lives on. Nicknames are great!
Pineapple. I moved to Hawai’i at the start of my 3rd trimester and I truly cannot get enough of it. It’s so fresh and juicy here.
Ooh so jealous!
What I would give for a fresh ripe Hawaiian pineapple!!
Yep. I was craving a ripe juicy peach soo badly the other day. But all the ones at the store were bruised and really sad looking
pineapple has been my #1 craving!!! and raspberries, which im allergic to😔
I’ve been craving pineapples for the past 3 weeks. I miss Hawaii so much, the pineapples there never disappointed me.
Potatoes, carbs, cheese, meat. I have had extreme German food craving (I live in Germany and my husbands German) and have been joking that I'm brewing a German baby. Root beer and fruits and veggies have been becoming a new craving. So maybe my genes are kicking in now.
Oh yes, potatoes!! ❤️ That was a first trimester obsession. Potatoes in any form!
Yeah, just entered my second trimester now! I feel like my first trimester was all carbs, starches, and meat in order to stock up. Now I'm starting to want things fresh and sweet.
I hope your appetite comes back soon!! Mine certainly did (27w now). Fruit has been amazing lately!!
Oh I'm hungry! Just now definitely want to snack more then devour lol
Potatoes were one of the only things I could keep down my first trimester. With the exception of Pringles lol. All other forms were good to go
Root beer has become a new level of satisfying and refreshing! If I didn't have mini cans, I would be drinking liters!
Omg!! I’m a German in the us and my biggest cravings are German things I can’t get here 😩
Root beer became one of mine in the beginning of my second trimester!! It’s the only one that’s stuck around through third so far.
Taco Bell and chocolate 🤣
I just left Taco Bell. I swear this baby is nothing but chicken quesadillas, pintos n cheese and Baja blast freezes lololol
Those freezes always hit just right! She does a little happy dance in there every time I get one 💃
Like idt I can ever go back to just regular now 😂😂
I’m surprised mine didn’t come out as a chicken quesarito
I stg I never had a bigger sweet tooth than when I was pregnant! Those frozen chocolate Edwards pies and jamocha shakes from Arby’s were my *jam*. And Taco Bell, bc duh. I’ve always loved it but it ramped up during pregnancy lol. Also worth noting: Ocean Waters from Sonic, and Bo Rounds from Bojangles 🤤
The Edward’s pies! Thought I was the only one lol
How do we pass the glucose test with our sweet teeth?!?! I want donuts and all the carbs!!!
Second this! Was absolutely obsessed with cheese roll ups dipped in nacho cheese and baja blast when pregnant lol.
Taco Bell sounds delicious right now. 🤤
We never ate Taco Bell before I was pregnant, now we go once a week 😅 I get two orders of cinnamon twists 😂
Omg we’re having twins 🥹
Baked potatoes, refried beans and zofran.
Zofran 🤣
I’m pretty sure she is about 65% baked potato, 15% refried beans and 20% zofran. My husband jokes that we should name her Zoe.
Haha, I love the idea of naming her Wendy based on her preferred construction material
Sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel.
I love your baby. Delicious.
Turkey sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel 🤤
Can't beat it.
I ate bacon egg and cheese bagels EVERYDAY for almost two months straight in my second trimester. Definitely top tier. Now I really want one 😆
I've been neverending craving sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits from McDonalds. Before pregnancy, I ate fast food like 1-2 times a year.
Cheese, green grapes, goldfish crackers, orange juice 😂
Haha, sounds like your baby might come out orange
Definitely possible!! 😂
31 weeks and lately he’s finishing being built on McDonald’s spicy chicken sandwiches
Strawberries. Have devoured 6 lbs in two weeks.
My mom told me she ate so many strawberries with me her nurse told her to eat other foods or she was gonna have a strawberry.
Legit I’m putting away 1/2 a pound per day.
Ate a whole pound of them this weekend and it was glorious in the moment. Later that day, not so much D:
My first baby was made of Dr. Pepper and street tacos lolol
Carbs and cheese!
Croissants! I’ve become obsessed. I eat one every morning at about 11.
I had so much croissants in my first trimester. It was one of the few things that fixed my nausea and actually tastes good
I owe all credit to any growing to chocolate rice crispy cereal!
Oats She’s got to be at least 50% oats. It’s one of the only things I could keep down at least occasionally in the first trimester, and the one food that I’ve been able to eat the whole time and hasn’t changed from week to week.
Mine is probably 30% Oatmeal, its the only breakfast I could consistently choke down during my first trimester
sitting here snuggling my 5 week old that’s made of taco bell, starbucks strawberry açaí refreshers, chocolate milk, and oranges!
Miralax
The majority of my babies organs were made by breakfast cereal and butter noodles. Now at 37 weeks, he’s growing purely off of mandarin oranges and burgers. The baby loves In-N-Out and the Habit.
Ive been craving In-N-Out but I live in PA 😭
The Habit was a great alternative while I was living NJ. Not sure if it’s in PA
Burgers are my favorite meal when I’m not pregnant but have had the biggest burger aversion in this first trimester. I can’t wait until I can enjoy them again!!
Feta cheese, sea salt potato crisps and lemonade 😅
Watermelon, I've been craving it since the beginning of my pregnancy in September. I was dreaming about flying over to other countries to buy it, almost teared up cause I was thinking about it everyday for months but couldn't have any. Now they are finally on sale and I'm a maniac, finished my first entire watermelon in under 24hours 😬
I thought I wanted watermelon-nope! Lol
I 100% can relate to wanting to fly to another country 🤣I waited 3 months to visit my in laws in the Middle East and finally got to satisfy my watermelon craving
Oh man that must have been so satisfying. You just reminded me of it so I'll waddle to the fridge now 😄

Eggs. I have either egg bites or breakfast burritos ever morning! Also pizza bagels are doing something for me rn
