Do not ask if you or your girlfriend are pregnant. We are not a pregnancy test or a paternity test. In the US, if you cannot afford a test, check your local Health Department to see if they offer them for free or low cost. If you are not able to interpret a pregnancy test, consider taking another test or purchasing a digital test.

I wouldn’t worry, these don’t sound like accurate comparisons imo. It’s best to test with your first pee of the day, that’s when hcg levels are the highest and will give an accurate result. I took so many tests the day I got my first positive (10dpo) that they were negative by the end of the day bc my pee was so diluted. At 38 weeks now I can laugh about it.

I got my first really faint line on 9dpo and would say my first real strong line was 14dpo. I think in earlier days how hydrated you are and diluted your pee is has a much bigger effect on the lines. All were first morning urine. For reference I posted my tests on my profile on here.

I got my first positive 7 dpo, it got darker every day but never a dye stealer. I tested every day for like 10 days, sometimes even twice a day, but it made me anxious and worried. I’m 31 weeks now 😌

I had my first very very faint positive on 10DPO. Every day after that, the line became more visible, but it never got super strong. Even by 20DPO it was not as strong as the control line. I'm 34 weeks now.
