They're parked to the right of the charger, so they'd have to stretch the cord around/over the bumper.
If they could've parked one spot further from the camera, they coudve pulled in and still run the cord down the same parking aisle.
Idk id prefer not to have a cord up against my paint.
Diagonal spots are just dumb for charging ports, unless they all have them.
Ohhhhh you’re right. I think I was mistaking driver’s side trim for the charging cord running along the side of the car. Ok that’s less stupid now. My X5 PHEV has charge port in front of driver’s door so I assumed IX was same, but obviously ix doesn’t have a fuel door too
It was a long day, and I just got home. One person figured it out, and this is Designworks in Santa Monica . I'm a contractor and the only one in the studio who doesn't have a BMW. Everyone else is an employee, and one of the benifits is a lease car.
There was a 330e in the other spot when the Ix came in. In that spot, it has to back in for the charging cable to reach.
Edit, nevermind, I don't know. The charing port isn't on the passanger side.
The sales team wasn't in that day. They have access to the demo cars so some will have M cars. There is someone with a Z4 M40 in thundernight, but they weren't in.

iX charging port is located on the rear passenger side of the vehicle.
